I contacted them about direct green diodes and pricing earlier this week. They replied with:

Hello Sean:
Thank you for your interest in World Star Technologies.
We are distributors for OSRAM green diodes. The prices are as follows:
PL-520* 145 USD/unit
OL515* 135 USD/unit
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me-

They provided a phone number and a location under that. It's in the US, and I plan to call on Monday. Has anyone dealt with this company or have any information on them? I'd definitely like to get a 515 build underway soon.

If they can get these spectro-tested, I´m very interested in a low-wavelength 515nm (like all of us :) )

I've contacted them about tested diodes, they're work days are only during the work week, so I don't expect anything until Monday.

Can't we talk to them about reducing the price with increase order quantity?

I can get one if so, no hurries otherwise!

That was done in the last email, asked about bulk quantity discounts, and mentioned that there is a market available if such a thing were possible. If they can promise a 510, then I'll be getting both the PL515 and PL520 at one point.

Off the shelf diodes run at the above prices. A guaranteed 35mw 513-514nm diode will run you $245. They also have tested 175mw 405's in the 403-408 range for $475. Just food for thought. I asked for a bulk discount, she wasn't sure if they can but she's checking for me. More info on that later.

Any updates ? If they are offering guaranteed a 510nm diode then I am very interested.

They don't have any that low. Lowest they have is 513. I'm going to take the plunge on a 515 (guaranteed around 515, not 520) when this next paycheck roles in.

Ah, if theirs does 513nm then its not really far enough off from 517nm (my HL) for me to want to dish out that much money on.

Well I don't have the one from skylasers, so this is how I'm getting it. Later on today I'm just going to grab it since I'm on quarters from my wisdom teeth removal anyway. Not like I'll be spending money on anything else. So hopefully it's a good investment.
