I was searching around on Alibaba.com for lasers, and came over this

Now compare that picture to these:

I think we might be on to something...

It looks similar, but imo the clip makes it look a bit crappy. Nice find tho'

If you look closely it isn't a clip, but a "lower part" of the laser (can't remember the world) like on the evolution, but without the engraving.

Looks to me they clone stamped (its a photoshop tool) the WL logo off the laser and used the picture for their product.
I doubt they sell these lasers, probably just another generic Chinese crap laser.

Oh, my bad. I assume it is the photography that makes the lasers look very different then

I wouldn't mind the body for a project, I can easily remove the logo, but I won't ever send WL $70 for a 5mW laser with a cool body and crappy divergence. Plus too much for shipping.

i contacted them and they sell single units. they dont sell the black one (glp0001) unless its over 100 units. prices aint to bad. dont know if they test them, probably not.
Its only 14.53USD for the 5mw.
