Wicked Lasers Lunar and Inferno

That 405nm is surely a wonderous wavelength. probably my favorite. If one had never seen anything other than a low powered green or red pointer, they'd think a 500mW 405nm was pretty bright. lots of people that I show my lasers to also like the 405 the best, even though is is easily drowned out in the light of my others. you'll be pleased

I have yet to see 405nm, but I have heard from many people their eyes seem to have difficulty adjusting to the dot.

Oh just you wait. No matter how much you strain your eyes you can't focus on it.

I CANNOT focus on 405 dots. It's frustrating! It's just a bright blob. But no easy task to focus on.

1) Look at it up close
2) develop severe farsighted vision
3) use the right glasses

I like the fact that you can't focus on them... gives the color an ethereal feeling, like it's something out of ghostbusters!

Mhm...interesting.

The only wavelength's I have seen are 635nm/650nm and 532nm, so I still have a long ways to go :p

I don't like staring at a 405 dot. Especially at long distance. As others mentioned, I can't focus on it. :p but I do like to play with it on GITD stuff.

on close range (few meters) I can focus on the dot but it has a haze around it. At long distances (hundred meters or more) I just see a faint purple fuzz.

That may be it, I only have lower power 405nm's so I've never taken one outside. I'll have to try it at a longer distance.

Really?

Some people have said at about 600 meters the dot of the 405nm is completely invisible :undecided:

It depends on a lot of factors (target reflectivity, laser power, weather condition etc) Mine was with a 233mW 405.
