Hi
I've lurked this forum from a while, cause I like pointers, but this time I need something with more quality and specific specs.
I need a 808nm laser working on continous wave mode, is important that the laser work very stable, since would be used to measure Up-Conversion in rare-earth doped nanoparticles.
The little that I have foud in about the CW in diode lasers is that they all work in CW by default, and to get a pulsed laser, one needs to get the apropiate driver/PSU form the modulation.
I've seen some sites, but either they didn't have prices published, or the prices were to high for my budget.
The site that I found a laser according to my budget is OEM Laser Systems, Inc. - 808nm Diode Laser Systems (IR)
I looked to in CNI laser and I find a serious resemblance in the power suply units, is the same the laser that i just posted with this -> http://www.cnilaser.com/PDF/MDL-III-808.pdf ??
And finally, are this lasers reliable? do you now another company with reliable CW 808nm lasers around 500mW-1W at a price around US$1000 ?
Sorry for the bad english and for the TOO many questions.
Thanks in advance, Xumi
