As some of you may have noticed, NOVAlasers hasn't updated its website or posted on LPF since December 2007. Some time ago, a few LPF members who were worried about NOVAlasers going out of business sent queries and were told that this was due to a major business overhaul. This did not seem to affect the company's operation since people were still able to buy lasers without problems.
However, it has still been almost a year and a half since NOVAlasers participated on forums or updated its website. Also, laser prices have dropped slightly over the last two years, and some of NOVAlasers' products are now relatively expensive. (For example, the "Alpha 105" laser costs $289 while Lucent Optics' NV-100 (just a bit less powerful) cost only around $250.) In comparison, NOVAlasers has always had lower prices than most companies. Does anyone know when NOVAlasers might go back into 'normal' operations? Do you think they will lower their prices soon?
