I would not recommend anyone buying from DX or other asian companies in the near future if you want your items fast.. I've been told there is a congestion in China Post, and for my last ~5 orders every single one have taken about 5-7 weeks to arrive (it usually takes 1-3 weeks). And I imagine it will only get worse now that christmas approaches. If you were planning on buying a christmas present from DX, I'm not so sure it will arrive in time even if you order today. If you do have to order from DX/China, make sure they ship EMS or another express shipping option.

That is news that most buyer from DX have known for
a long time.
It has been over a year that I will no longer buy from
DX because they only ship part of the order at a time
and it takes up to 4 Months... for a completed order
to get into my hands.

There are better alternatives to DX... IMO

I have noticed that too. I am waiting for a package shipped in September and it still didn't arrived. I asked DX about it and they said wait another 7 days :yabbem:
I have insisted to solve the problem and now they are going to resent it.

Not only DX has shipping problems. Some Chinese webshops have the problems too.

Ditto.

All of my DX parcels have arrived in <14 days, but the two recent ones are taking over a month. :tsk:

That's because they had a 7 day holiday a while back, everything is backed up. Haven't had an issue here in Aus tho, still getting all my China parcels in a decent amount of time.

One of my DX orders this year took at least 4 months to be shipped complete.

I´m sitting in the same boat. Waiting for items I´ve ordered in September.

But on the other hand they won´t forget about you. My girl got a vodoo puppet 2 years after ordering. Also they have a much better customer service than many other shops in my country.

You seriously got a puppet TWO years after ordering?

I'm not so sure about forgetting...

That's true...I think the problem is that they advertise stuff on their site and they often run into stock issues with their suppliers. But they keep you informed and always respond quickly to inquiries through their ticket system.

The way they ship it looks like a center to collect orders
then they order the parts and ship them out as they arrive
or they are simply a drop shipper like a lot of Asian sellers.

I didn't receive mines :( so after 6weeks they kindly "sent" another one and it has been 7weeks and I still haven't got my module and a few other stuff, I asked the Australian customs, but they aren't holding any thing which belongs to me.

That doesn't sound good...even by their normal shipping method it should only take 3-4 weeks.
