Ok guys, I know I kind of rage quitted this site, but seeing this brought me back.

I went to Tmart to leave a review on the 5mW red laser I bought, and what do I see on the home page? This:
Laser.jpg

Is it just me, or does it look like their advertising high power lasers as toys, "lightsabers" to be specific.

What are your thoughts about that?

you don't need a bump if your thread is still in the top 5 in the board, damnit. It's just an advertising scheme, no reason to hate on it. Although I never feel like I'm in star wars :/

Worthy of a bump 13 minutes after posting?
No, -1 from me. That's just obnoxious.

Well, I thought that with 269 people viewing the topic, i would bump it. I wasn't serious, hence the "lol".

Geez, you people take EVERYTHING seriously.:banghead:

What's a "serious" vs "non-serious" bump? You bumped it either way ;)

I like Tmart. They have a distributing warehouse in the united states, so I normally get my stuff in 3-4days instead of 2 weeks.

^^^Interesting. Said warehouse wouldn't happen to be in Brooklyn, NY, and also used by gadgettown would it?

Edit... Yall inc is the parent company IIRC.

^^^I got a package from gadgettown overnight - physically I'm about 50 miles from them. Placed order middle of the night late sunday/early monday (around 2am) and had it tuesday. I was shocked since I thought it was coming from china. Unfortunately it was a bad greenie, had to send it back:(

Hold Up.. 3-4 days Regular Free shipping.? Are you kidding me. Thats epic.

I pay EMS $20+ and it takes 3 weeks to 1 month to get stuff.

Iam going to order some random stuff and see how fast it gets to me.

Yes it is. You have to be careful on what you order though. They like to send you the wrong item.
Not that it's a mistake, cause if you order the same item again, you get the eact same wrong item. I learned this after getting 20 wrong flashlights and wasting $200.

The flashlights are usually a dollar or two more, but i think it's worth it to get it in 3-4 days instead of weeks.

However I think the graphic design is not bad
Graphic design could be a copyright infrigment since no credit is given to George Lucas anywhere, as the picture on the right side is a protagonist nicknamed "Starkiller" as appears in the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

Picture is not a screenshot, but a concept or cover art of the game (you know, art that appears in advertisements and commercials).

Absolutly clear Eudaimonium. I don't offen pay much attention on TV, Movie or game poster. I don't know whether their "design" is copyrighted or not. And what I've say is just according to my first feeling.

Peace

Gotta watch Tmart for false advertising the power rating of some of their higher powered lasers, bought the "1000mw" 532nm laser which metered 400mw, and they offered me a measly $10 to compensate for that. I had a feeling it would have been over rated in the power department by some, but just not by that much. Why don't they just call it a 2000mw laser since the pump diode is that much in IR. :na:
