YA, I just ordered a heat sunk 350mWpeak, 250mWavg red burner, pakage with aixiZ mod and driver and power pack, adjustable focus using the pioneer open can 22x LD, all i have to do is solder leads from power pack to driver and find a host. i might have it fri. his name is Joeseph W. you probably saw him as 'pyrotronic' on ebay. Guy has been answering all my questions instantly, and providing pics of hosts that hes used for this package. He has an injured back from work and this is all he does now. He says hes sick of seeing all the crap people are selling just to make money. He has 100% feedback and loves this as a hobby as well. Total for package $109 with a beefier heatsink, was $99 with reg heatsink.
just email him with any questions, ive been very impressed with his service and can see why hes 100% on ebay
hope this helps

Thanx guys.

I noticed he had some specials on E-bay under the name of Pyrotronic.
The web site prolly didnt work the first time if u cut and paste, cause I had to leave off one of the W's. I cant post links yet. :)

Seems pretty genuine, but as there are a lot of scammers on e-bay, i thought id ask here first.

Ya, hes not a great webmaster but I think his deals are decent. Again, contact him directly by email. hes a pretty cool guy. he raised the price on that package i got on ebay. i inquired about it and someone else bought it before i could. so he put another one together and gave me a better qual heatsink for an extra $10 over the orig price of $99. i paid $ 109. now they are $149!

he said with proper heat sinking or cooling that these can be pushed well over the 350mw threshold.
Ill be posting pics and vids, review when i get it. above link comes with alot of info and a vid of the open can in action. instant burn! sweet!!

Keep in mind, i talked to Daedal about this buy. not something he would do. he can get all the parts for about half that cost. (extracting the diode himself) because he says getting there is the the fun part. So i figured the extra $ for someone elses hard work is worth it to me. I asked DDL to get back to me with something similar that he could sell me earlier this week but never heard back from him about sellin me a diode, driver, etc.. but i think he has too much on his plate right now to walk every newbie thru a build. hes not a baby sitter.I would trust his opinion over just about anybody, but hes really very very busy. This is going to be my first laser ever. it will be a good learning experience finding a host and soldering some leads. i continue to study and learn so i can do more of the work and spend less$ in future. But for right now , I WANT A LASER!!
and as Amkdeath says, dont forget the Y in DIY!! so very little Y in this build but hopefully more Y in the future after ive satisfied my hunger for my first laser

hey team!
look, i have a correction to make. was chattin with joe from stimlogic and he mentioned to me that i commented on his injured back . actually it was his leg. apparently i didnt have my reading glasses on and i mistook " a bad injury" for "a back injury"!
my back! crap, i mean my bad!
Btw- this guy is a perfectionist and ill be posting reviews on the forum when i get the package, pics, vids. he redefines the old statement, you only get what you pay for, to something like, you get a hell of a lot more than you paid for. the package im getting has many extra goodies that he doesnt even list on the ebay item but he sends them anyway cuz hes generous like that. Joe ROCKS!!

I ordered the 100mw green laser from Stimlogic. Just afterwards, the website showed "Out of stock" I had some problems e-mailing him through the website b4 I ordered it. Sent 2 but didnt get a response. I managed to contact him thru e-bay. I'm thinking because the website is under construction he might have been having problems with the e-mail.

Hope my order got in B4 it went OOS, want to review it on here for u all.

Subject: RE: 100 mw green heatsinked order

Hi, sorry for all the confusion with the website etc. I did receive your order, unfortunately a buyer in Colorado wiped out all of my green lasers for his store. He ordered one 2 weeks ago, and 24 yesterday! I had 20 left total and some of his order is on back order. Im awaiting my next shipment from the US and can provide a couple of options. If you would like I can give you a refund, or I can ship to you in priority the second the order arrives. I noticed your order minutes after the out of stock notice was posted. I have since contacted my supplier with my concerns for urgency and will put you at the top of the list. I didnt expect to have my stock wiped out in one swoop as it was, and will definately throw in some extras for your patience. The expected arrival time for the next order is expected for 2-3 weeks, and have no problem with refunding you until the next set comes in.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Regards.

Joseph

Oh well. cant be helped....

Cry..
