Is this store still active? http://spectraforum.com/store/

The forums http://spectraforum.com are inactive as well as giving my browser a Warning.

I would like to buy this
what do you think?

I know this is Laser_Ben's store. I know he is a member that may have pissed some of his customers off, in the past. But he stills seems to have some supporters. or all has been worked out
I would like to do business with him. It appears he is located in the next town over from me.

I don't know who's store it is but...
Man... go to 0-Like or Qualifound or DX instead...
You need to do a little reading and research on LPF before getting soaked...

I've talked to ben about the store.. almost ordered something but I had to use my funds to pay for something else, but he seems decent to deal with.

The store is from laser_ben, an user of this forums. Althought he had a problem with someone with a selling or sthing, overall he really seems fine for me.

The recent unsatisfied customers do really not speak for the majority of Laser_Ben's customers.
He has done hundreds if not thousands of successful transactions for large sums of money. The fact that 3 people had trouble with him (two of them for very bad reasons IMO) still only makes up a tiny fraction of his reputation. It was blown out of proportions because of that raving flamewar thread.

As I said, he's fine IMO, just saying he hada problem recently with someone :p

He still hasnt responded to me about my broken 125mw green module..

kind of sucks since he is just ignoring me..

It would be good if he told whether he is going to replace it or not. When i received it it was tEM02 and about 5mw's output..

he asked for a picture and that was the last i heard from him.

he is cool when things are going his way.. once something doesnt , he just doesnt repond and ignores you.

Hopefully he will renew his reputation on LPF with customers

Well I contacted laser_ben last week. He said he no longer really runs the store.

I was asking about the 125mW 532nm portable laser.
He said something about not being able to order smaller quantities anymore.
He did say he would see what he could do and get back to me.

I was a little disappointed. I live very close to him or the store's address. So I would have been able to buy in person.

I don't know Ben, and I could be wrong, but I think its just an online store. The same time that the parts take to get delivered to his house would probably be the same time it would take to get to your house. Sooooo..save some money and time, and go to O-Like or other cheaper outlets like he does.
