Soraa no longer developing laser diodes?

About two years ago, Soraa demonstrated some high-powered laser diodes (some of which were single mode) that were to be used in projectors. However, we have heard very little from this company since then.

I checked the Soraa website, and the company's focus seems to be LEDs now. There is no mention of laser diodes aside from a few press releases. So has Soraa stopped developing them?

Had mail contact with a Soraa guy, got an offer for a 85mW 445nm (attached).

Back in December 2012 I got this message acc. the 750mW SM / 4W MM process
We are still working on the technology and are not yet sampling.
Please stay in touch.

Message from March this year
Hello,
Thank you for your message, we are selling 85mW at this point.
Please et me know if you have interest in that.
Best regards,
Paul

Looks `not so good´ :(

I realize this is a very old post but wanted to share my latest findings. The good news is that Soraa has been developing laser diodes during all this time. The reason their official website didn't say anything about lasers is that the R&D was being done by a spin-off company called SLD Laser (or Soraa Laser Diode). SLD Laser was acquired by Kyocera about a year ago: https://global.kyocera.com/news/2021/0102_fmns.html

Kyocera's website does indeed talk about a "highly efficient" GaN-based laser diode: https://kyocera-sldlaser.com/products/laserlight-blue

However, no specs are publicly available. Anyone want to reach out to them?
