I wanted to purchase their Radiant Alpha LPM and it was out of stock. So, I asked them, why it doesn't let me check out and when it will be back in stock. Brad Reddicopp told me only that it needs to be in stock to check out and nothing about when it will be back. So I wrote another e-mail asking specifically about that. I was told that they will be in stock at Monday 6th December and now, over a week later they still are out of stock. Few days ago I wrote another e-mail and they haven't replied yet. Anyone has got a similar experience with them?

In my opinion Mario and Spyro are very kind and qualified guys :)
my only criticism is that they don't provide pre-orders!

Well yeah, I needed the LPM a month ago, so my patience had pretty much ran out.

From what I've read he's a college student. He's mentioned exams are coming up so while I completely understand your frustrations I don't blame him one bit for putting his studies first. Although I do agree with you that three or four days (which is how take a 'few' to mean) is a bit long to let email go unreplied even for a side business. Be patient the meters are worth the wait. I waited almost 6 weeks for them to be in stock so I could order one.

Re: Radiant Electronics - Not Happy

Sorry guys, I wish I could make a lot more of these, there's a ton of people who want one and I don't have much in the way of parts on hand. Stuff is on order but with me traveling back and forth to school, family business, exams (that are over now thankfully) it makes it difficult.

Getting a complete power meter for under $100 requires me to order from a lot of different sources to get the lowest possible prices on components, most of which come from China and can take 1-4 weeks to arrive. Radiant Electronics is still just getting situated and ordering tons of items to keep stock up 100% of the time especially with new items could end up causing problems down the line.

I'm finally back home for the holidays and plan on getting more Alphas up for sale soon, but this batch may be small due to a commercial interest I plan on filling before having units up for sale on the forum again.

So I'm sorry that Radiant couldn't get you a meter in the timeframe that you needed it, but this is PRECIESELY why I didn't want to take preorders.

Thanks for your reply. I did not know that. I know how China can be slow. Good luck with your store, it looks like I will wait for Alpha to be back in stock. Sorry if I caused inconvenience!

That's what you get when you sell LPMs this cheap. :)
