So excited to get my new sci-fi lasers!

Its going to be hard for me to fall asleep tonight. i have literally been dreaming of lasers the past 2 nights. Well tonight I placed my order with Sci-fi which took me over a week to decide.
Eitan has been incredibly patient and helpful answering my questions quickly. I couldn't be happier with this process so far.

I ordered the 2w 445nm blue laser.
I can not wait to get this and I will be careful and always wear eye protection. I will do some reading to buy the right eye protection for these lasers.
I will write a review if thats a good idea. I know there are loads of great reviews on here about Sci-fi but a couple more cant hurt.
Anyways, i feel like a goofball but I'm guessing some people around here can understand laser lust. Im hooked.

I totally agree. I just ordered a 445nm 1W a couple days ago and CANNOT wait! I've been checking my email way too much for that email that says it's been shipped... xD

Thanks everyone. I got an email from thejoker that it will be shipped this week. Hopefully it comes quickly.
I also ordered from O-like a day or two after I made the original post. I really want a 532 but since sci-fi no longer makes them I gave O-like a try. I ordered the crown upgrade 400mW green.
If everything goes well with o-like I will probably order a smaller laser from them as well. Something around 50-100mW in either 405 or 520 that I can use indoors.

My eagle pair safety glasses came yesterday though. Not that I have anything to use them for yet. They seem well made for all plastic glasses. I did give them a try with my only laser a 5mW 532 just to see how the dot appears with them on.

I just received a 520nm 200-300mw laser from Sci-Fi yesterday. This is a fantastic laser. Once in the mail, it took only 10 days to reach me in Florida. (standard shipping)

Welcome new members to the excitement of your first lasers Be safe, overly nice (members are more likely to answer questions and help) and support the forum each month if you can even if it's just a buck. Seriously try and use the search bar at the bottom (not the top one) before asking the same questions that 10's of 1000's have before you. Have fun and learn lots. Try not to go broke every week too lol.

Remember to put your batteries in the correct way! Many a new diode or driver has left the land of the living from this simple yet devastating mistake. Mark the inside of the tail cap with a + or - to remind yourself. Easy to screw up once you build up your collection. Suggest having a notebook specifically for your lasers so you can write down the specs on each one you get such as manufacturer/builder, wavelength, output power, battery type/number of cells and orientation, type of lens installed etc...
Anyways, nice to hear some genuine excitement.

The green laser will be in stock in a week or so I believe.
