does anyone know if lazerpoint is a reliable website or if theyre just scammers. they have incredible prices but seems too good to be true i ordered a little 100mW for 16$ and it has been almost 3 weeks and it still hasnt arrived

Go with another company. If you haven't already, open a dispute to get your money back.

You may or may not receive a laser, and it will certainly not be up to spec.

OH that sucks - just as i am about to order a host. Looks like I'll need to put that on hold (and refund my mate) until the USPS sort themselves out.

There are some major changes going on with USPS... I think aside from express/EMS USPS internationally is going to be very slow from now on.

USPS woke up to this newfangled "internets" thing and email a few years ago, and just now realized that most people prefer to take care of some things from the comfort of their home as opposed to heading over to a post office.

Basically a lot of USPS infrastructure is being eliminated because it's no longer needed, and a lot of people are being eliminated.

I expect that this will be an ongoing process for a long time to come.

Aye, I don't expect USPS to recover. This is a real shame when dealing with Canada as IIRC our neighbors up north (actually just a few miles away from me, haha) get hit with an insane surcharge from UPS.

Where I live we only have an option of USPS and UPS, and the UPS is >20 miles away.

Lase, I really hope those heads get to you ahead of the USPS systems crash (it's not really a system crash, but that's what I'm calling it). Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Update: For S#!ts and giggles I typed in the "tracking" number for Lase's purchase and look... it came up!

Will be interesting to watch the progress:)

There hasn't been any progress since Feb 8th :(

I will keep you updated Sigurthr. Here's a screen of what AusPost does with that same tracking number.

and more to the point, since they are laying off all these staff and closing down post offices, have their prices dropped especially since recently they have been supplying a substandard service?

That's annoying, I recently got my goggles shipped via USPS to Australia...that's going to take a while.

USPS took 15 days to get my package from America to Australia, normal postage. That's pretty good I guess.
