uhm, ive never dealt with price angels before but i wouldn't expect 150mw... for 44$ i would guess its about >50mw.

is the first one that comes to mind when thinking of kaleidoscope. it should be around 200mw but its 90$ (has 5 patterns)

do you think their laser will have a real output betther then price angels ?

i order stuff from china alot, its never gotten caught
and that one could be up to 150mw
and i would prefer DX than price angels

No points , BUT, I have noticed that DinoDirect really stand by their products as of lately. And many users here have had Very good experiences with their FireDragon series.

If you are dissatisfied you will get a new laser and/or refund. Read more for the reason a bit further down. I have received instant shipping of new laser on DOA. And direct partial refunds for underspec lasers.

I would recommend you to consider spending a few $$ extra, and buy 1x FireDragon 200mW 532nm

Or if you really just want 100mW go for the 100mW variant, to save a buck:

I bought a "Firedragon" 500mW green and it looks more like 50mW to me. I'm waiting for a Laserbee that I ordered. I can't wait until I test the strength of that thing. In the past few months I've ordered less and less from China. Their "products" are very much over rated. They know cheap Americans are lurking out there looking for a bottom line price, regardless of quality. To bad.

I have bought many lasers from DinoDirect. I've bought Firedragon Certified and "not certified" too. More than 20 lasers. Some of them on spec, some under. The underspec were refunded. I have to be very patient with their service customer, but in the end, I am successfull with my complaints. The best way is an email to Shirley <deal@dinodirect.com>.

The laser you asked is this: 5-in-1 200mw 532nm Open-back Star-projected Green Laser Pointer Pen (2×AAA) . I have one! It has 180mW total, 20mW IR, low divergence and round and stable dot. Price is almost half your budget. Remember you'll need reachargeable batteries and charger.

I don't recommend any "SD" type laser. They don't have good support (it's just a soft foam) for the driver, and pressing the button bends the driver board. I have onde from DX I'll have to open to fix.

About customs here in Brazil:
. If you buy from DX, include the drop shipping (there'll be no DX logo on the package) in your cart and don't worry about taxes. We're talking a package below $70, right? DX will put a label as electronics and the price less than $30. You'll be taxed if it's declared over $50 (60% tax!).
. From DinoDirect, you don't have the DS option, the package has the DD logo & name, but the price on the label is always $10. But there is a risk: They enclose an invoice with the real price inside. This is something I am trying to convince them not to do. So far I had no trouble with this.
. I did only one purchase from Price Angels, and it wasn't laser. The package came with "Y Lee" as sender, and the price below real.
All of them declare package contents as gifts.

As you can tell searching around the forum, buying from cheap chinese sites require luck. Sometimes you get what you ordered, sometimes not, even ordering certified power guaranteed lasers. In any case, read carefully their return policy and allways pay whatever it needs to have your package tracked.

Then go for that firedragon 100mW, and apply the $10 off $50. That's ~$45 shipped to you. $48 incl return compensation right and tracked packet. As DD guarantees this to be "power certified" you have all rights on your side pursuing a claim if you are unhappy.

As the earlier poster say, the customer service will refund and/or fix if you get a bad unit. DD do not by any means deliver better quality than DX & FP, but they are prepared to make an effort correcting the mistake.
