To all our customers, please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has recently raised their postage fees significantly, in some cases more than double, and we regret that we must pass this cost on to our customers. However, we are still offering free First Class or Priority Mail (depending on weight) shipping to our US customers for all orders over $100 net. We will also continue to offer free First Class Mail international shipping to our international customers, but the minimum order for this free shipping has increased to $200 net.

Always thought our US postal service is cheap for what you get. Government employee picks up a letter from my house,takes it all the way across the country. Another government employee puts it in a box in front of my friends house. For 49 cents.

That is true for letters, cards and so on at 49 cents but some packages have just had a good sized increase :(

I just sent a letter out priority recently and it cost $7 for a few states away. I'm not complaining though, still cheaper than UPS/FedEx/DHL. Same goes for with packages that fit in the flat rate boxes.

Yes, it is still a bargain compared with the other services.

@Sigurthr

Indeed! I needed to send my labby back to China, cost me $93 for USPS Int'l Priority Express which takes around 3-5 days.

FedEx is extremely pricey, probably a good $130+ for that same service.

Where is really made a difference is on the low end of international first class parcels, where it used to cost $6 and change for 1 ounce, it went up to over $13.
