Both are good companies but Laserbtb makes FDA compliant lasers.

Well i like jet lasers but they for the most part don't break into parts so they can be sent easier ( 2 parcels) and clear customs, which is my biggest issue being in Australia . But thats just my opinion ..

Actually BTB doesn't fully :p they miss out on the time delay that is a pain in the @$$ :)

As far as I know, they are both fantastic companies that will get you what you paid for. I won't say either is better than the other.

Haven't heard anything bad about either of them. They are both good, can't vote either way.

Polarity reversal protection vs. FDA safety compliance

I like them both . Overspec quality products.

Jetlasers is a GREAT company.

JetLasers is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with, period. I don't say this lightly.

I have two of their lasers. I had an issue with one and was personally contacted by their representative Gray who wanted to ensure I was happy with my product. He came to find me. That is a first. I am an old guy and have never seen this kind of commitment to a customer before. He resolved my problem and did so quickly and at no cost to me.

I also own two LaserGlow lasers. As many of you may know, LaserGlow charges premium prices for their lasers. They claim to stand behind them and that this and their quality are why you should pay the premium. Earlier this year I had a problem with one of them that I had just bought. It arrived defective. I contacted them and they made me buy another one, send the defective one back, and then they would issue a refund on the first. The original sale included free shipping, but they charged me shipping for the replacement. Then when I sent the other back I did not get credited. I complained and still no refund. Then I kind of forgot about it because I was busy and I figured I just got screwed. Then three months after all this I received a repaired laser in the mail. Now I had two, when I only wanted one. After getting very loud and angry and threatening I would spend all my waking hours trashing them on the forums, they said they would refund the first one if I sent the repaired unit back. in the end I paid an extra $20 for shipping because they originally sent me a defective unit. I will never deal with them again. This was a completely opposite experience than what i had with JetLaser.

The next time I need a laser I will be looking at JetLaser before anyone else because I know they will ensure I get what I paid for and stand behind the product fully.

If you read this, "Thank you Gray", you have been awesome and I love my JetLasers.

And thank you for the kind words even tho you left me out.

about FDA compliance- at one time the Pl-Cs were just as compliant but after many complaints some of these features were left off. and no BTB does not make a FULLY compliant handheld afaik. If we are voting on customer support JL has no rival. hk

Hak,
You are absolutely right. You were very much involved and I don't know what I was thinking. I spoke in haste without thinking and I am very sorry. You and Gray make a supreme team and you both held the same regard for your customers. please accept my apology.

Everything I said about JetLasers applies to you both for sure.

TY

I am still involved but as there is little left to prove about JL and especially Gray- so my job here is basically done.

Still happy to help anyone anytime.
and if anyone seeks a gently used PL-C or a PL-E (non Pro)PM me with what you want- many of my handhelds must go to make room for Projectors..

I voted for JetLasers in the poll but I also want to add that Laserbtb is much cheaper and I quite like both their PL and HL hosts; after adding in price I think this question gets complicated. I have had only good experiences with Lasersbtb's customer service, and I did have issues to work out (a forgotten pair of glasses which were quickly sent with my next order).

It is hard to beat the quality and wonderful customer service of Jetlasers though, at least for a company; I need to get my hands on a forum custom build at some point. :D

I like the Prices at Laserbtb better, theyre actually really affortable for the quality. The hosts are more appealing to me as well. I find some of the jetlaser hosts a little too flashy which works for a lot of people but not as much for me. The btb hosts seem more professional in a sense.

I'm not a fan Laserbtb hosts, but i'm curious as to the duty cycle of some of their products.
