I had actully decided to go phrog but I really can't justify $350.....anyone know why he hiked the price so high? :mad:

Just lemme know when you are ready to order ! Also - check out my review - the beam visulaizer spray is kinda cool - BUT it has a "constant on" feature I was not aware of until today, when I was messing with it, and I was like, " OMFG !!! IT's not turning off ! ACK !!! WTF ?!?!?!" Etc..... LOL !!!! The button kinda can get latched down - spraying constantly - would be PERFECT for hands free operation !

Yeah, the price increase was necessary as the old price of $230 was actually sold at a loss after the design and cost associated with everything and also importing the lasers. I'll see what can be done regarding the costs, since I will also have to factor in possible warranty returns, etc...

too bad to hear that meowcow! it would have continued to be a laser that people could have afforded and would again have sold out of stock in a real quick hurry. How may I ask are you affiliated with the company? Oh by the way welcome to the forum. I recall seeing megahurts was in contact with the designer and owner rick, and he was a source of news and updates from the company. I hope that your rick and that you will be frequenting the forum here so that we can help in the design of any future lasers. (i know i'm a smart feller) hehehe.

sweet, looks like nova's got some competition and so does DL bc nova has free shipping so their about the same price.
personally I like the pen style look better than the nemesis, but who knows maybe i'll change my mind and go with the nemesis, once some people start up loading more vids of it!!!

The larger size of the unit allows for more heat dissapation. I think the people who currently have a BFG laser will notice that the beam does not flicker or get weaker over the span of several minutes of constant use (unless it's the batteries that are dying). I've found this to be a problem with slimmer pen-sized lasers.

true very true, well I don't have enough cash yet, so I have time to think about it......we'll see

I've used this one for almost 30 minutes at a time and havn't seen any decrease in beam power with the exception of battery voltage drop. The thing didn't even heat up.

My Phraug arrived this morning the only confusing thing is on the lasercheck it reads over 530mw :eek: :eek: :eek: This is not accurate as i tested my Aries and Viper to see if the lasercheck was messing about. The lasercheck works fine I've done the skin test and the Viper stings quicker and more intensely. I'm not complaining as i won it, my only guess is its spewing out IR....
