I ordered a 200 mw greenie and some glasses for red from DD a week ago. They shipped quite quickly. Once I get them, I'll give a report :D

I got a pink slip in the mailbox today to pick up my 200mw greenie. It took less than 2 weeks from order in China to my post office. Eat that, DX. One I pick it up, I'll report back:cool:

Can't ip addresses be blocked?

Anyway, just ordered my Ultrafire WF1200 torch. Ordered Tuesday, got an email on Thursday saying it's been shipped. I figured it would take approx. 2 weeks to get it in...if that shipping email was true, it may get here much quicker.

On a more serious note, I got my Dino Direct 200mw greenie yesterday, and it is BRIGHT. I just got my new Laserbee out of the mailbox a minute ago, so I will report numbers at some point soon. ;)

@rocket689

Which laser did you get? What's the real output?

I bought the 532nm 200mW Green Beam Laser Pointer DC 3V. Link= 532nm 200mW Green Beam Laser Pointer DC 3V - DinoDirect.com

It is pretty bright. I LPM'ed it at 179mw peak without using an IR filter (haven't gotten one yet). I'm not sure if this pointer is ir filtered or not. It will also be a while till I can meter any laser again, since my wife accidentally knocked the thermopile off of the table onto the tile floor. The sensor broke off of the heatsink :cryyy:

All in all, I'm happy with this pointer. It's nice and compact, yet has some weight to it. It's my favorite pre-made 532nm laser. :beer:

179mW Peak - that's an awesome result. Just FYI that laser is not IR filtered. Also I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it is basically just pressed into the housing, making the laser hard or impossible to take apart.

There was a thread by Dino selling those for $30 but I missed out on the deal. I'm really tempted to get one myself. I got a very similar looking model that's been through hell, from gadgettown. Unfortunately it LPMs at only 60mW, although I didn't have a fresh battery on hand.

Sorry to hear about your laserbee:( - I'm treating mine with extra paranoid care.

Yea, I got the laser from Carmen on that $30 deal. So far (I've only made one order), I'm happy with dinodirect. :cool:

Even at $55... pretty good deal. My edc laser is the o-like 200mW transformable, and it peaks at 174mW. Although to be fair it does stay very stable at ~170mW with no mod hopping. Still it cost nearly 5 times as much with express shipping...
