I've noticed that here in holland, i had to sign for DX packages lately. Usually they didnt require a signature, if they fit the mailbox they were just dropped in.

I'm not sure if i should be happy about it though - the good thing is that they mailpeople can't leave them with a neighbour sor someone else where it gets 'lost', but it is downright annoying that i have to pick even an evenlope with 2 batteries up at the post office when i'm not home when the mailman visits.

I'm facing the same problem. Ordered on the 9th and status on the laser still hasn't changed. Maybe there is a problem with them?

i have that exact laser and i can confirm that it is waterproof! i turned it on and dunked it completely underwater in my friends pool and the beam was as visible as a 200+mw green laser! (at night) the deepest i tried was about 1 foot, and then i took it inside and dried it off, opened it and found everything on the inside 100% dry.

i made on order at dx which included dilda..
when the order as made it said ETA 12th of July on 12 th it was "in stock:ships in 2-5 days" now changed to back ordered again...

Why is this?

They don't make the lasers. Their supplier "promised" them X number of lasers by July 12th. The supplier didn't deliver. They may have gotten in less than they needed to get to you in the list of people waiting or they may have gotten zero lasers on the 12th.

You don't order from DX when you're in a hurry or anxious. You order and then forget you did. When your package finally arrives, it is like your birthday in July.

If you're in a hurry, you order a red burner from somebody in this forum. You'll pay a bit more for a red burner, but it will ship (usually) the next day. As far as blu-rays go, the members of this list are WAY below market price for them.

dealextreme refunded my full order cost... :p now i have to choose where i want to buy from.... so hard...
Can anyone recommend me a good red/green/blue-ray for max 200?
