o-like shipping - Laser Pointer Forums

i recently ordered my 200mw new style red laser and i received a tracking number from o-like and this is what it says when i put it into the tracking thing.
Origin Post is CHINA PEOPLES REP 12/24/09 11:13pm
Preparing Shipment
Foreign Acceptance 12/23/09 1:36am
Could you also leave your info on your o-like experience it would be much appreciated.

You should get your laser but it will take some time. It is now in the hands of the Chinese postal services, so you should see it in 7 to 18 days. Like many other members here, I have found o-like to be reliable.

O-like is very reliable. I've received orders from them in as few as 6 days!

Has it ever took over a month to get a laser from them with separate shipping? I ordered the 200mw somewhere around the beginning of November, got the front part with the diode on the 27th of last month, and i'm still waiting on the batteries, charger and tail part.

Edit: Nvm, just got it today.

Yeah, i remember seeing your post about that in the o-like customer service thread so it felt good knowing i wasn't the only one waiting. I think it is just all the holiday shipping and thousands of packages customs has to go through with overseas shipping. Yours should be there any day this week!

my o-like laser arrived in 4 days, but i paid $28 for the shipping, it usually takes 14 days to arrive

for some people getting there laser quickly can mean that much!
and $28 for shipping from china is quite good considering some Chinese sites are charging that as the base fee.

yeah it's alot, but i'm just an impatient person and i really liked the laser alot, so i rushed it, but i don't regret it, I loved the laser, i would say $28 for 3-4 days, it costs $18-$20 for regular shipping from most chinese sites

To me it maybe ... forever. Suise agreed to sent me a replace pakage, but it over 1 week and she still not sent any thing. Maybe she change her mind.

I pay 6 USD for shipping, and my first pakage from O-like lost. Too tired to convince them. I'll try my luck with rayfoss.

Since I paid $12, shipping should take like 1 week to get here from the moment she delivers it to the post?

Outward Registered Letter

Destination - United States of America

The item (xxxxxxxxxx) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 10-Feb-2010.

My question is regarding the description "Outward Registered Letter", is this a normal description when passed through customs?

Sounds kinda ominous..

Hello, I believe this is a normal tracking response as it is the same response that I'm getting right now. It means it's getting ready to leave for the long haul. I live on the west coast and will let you know when mine gets here, probably about a week.

Somethings wrong! Ordered exact same laser(feb.10th). Paid $6.00 shipping and received 1/2 order batt,charger,tail cap today(feb.17th) and so did another member I know of. I imagine your frustrated and nothing you can really find out til feb.20 or 22nd.

Cool! You should really update your own thread because I found it searching about shipping and it sounded so far you received nothing. Now I see its pretty much a hit or miss where you live and when the order was placed, but for the most part shipment to your door in a week or 2.
