Olympus have you bought any of O likes 532 modules and you know where im going if they are up to spec? or should I stay with Fasttech......OVNI My 1W 445 501b took 32 days I think but I knew when I purchased it and stuck it out hard as it was but im happy with it. Lets hope he got some Christmas time help like Eitan had mentioned

I have inquired about their 500mW 532 modules which they told me was the same as the one in the Crowns but haven't bought one. I bought a 200mW 532 from fasttech but haven't yet tested them. They told me that they were not 200mW of 532 light but IR and 532nm combined to rate them at 200mW.

i need to update my sig when i get a chance, I also have a 50mw rated ple 473nm that i lpmed at 128mw peak but averages around 95-105 when stable when it warms up a few minutes. the beam is extremely visible at night. honestly the beam is just as bright as my 60mw green laser but the beam is harder to focus your eyes on the green looks more clear if that makes any sense. if i put the laser on my kitchen floor and shine it through my living room i could stand 20 feet down the beam and look stright down at the beam and it still very visible. its not as bright as my 500mw 450nm laser but when its warmed up its no slouch.
the beam is 3 times brighter then i expected. i love this laser and the divergence is about .70 mrad on mine.

I must of missed Fasttechs 200mw 532s Pman has said he has gotten their 5mw 532 and has seen them as high as 140+mw, wonder if they are pawning it off as the 200mw. Alot of members here have posted that all companys 532mw modules that they sell are the same and ive yet to see one on spec. Im curious to see when you test yours, IR and all.

Definitely. Even without a little fog but with some it's quite a sight.

@GSS sorry I double checked it wasn't fasttech I got those modules from it was Laserland. They advertise 200mW but many doubt they are true 200mW green.

LOL Olymupus, I was looking all over fasttech,s sight for an hour for it, thats not the worst part I kept seeing other things I wanted to buy they have alot! of stuff. Still want to see though what that Laserlands puts out. There are alot of threads about these 532 modules and it seems not to many have figured them out. Pman seems to be the most experienced on these, I came across a 5 page thread from 2013 on fasttechs 5mw alone......Apex other than the garbage light blue glasses for red lasers I bought from them everything else I was happy with and you cant go wrong with the prices, yes but shipping is slow for sure

I've ordered some stuff from them in the past. Not the best, but okay.

I got some lower powered 532s off there (advertised at 50 or 100 mW) that were not really up to spec, but not crazy far under either (say 70 mW for something advertised as 100 mW).

I have no idea how good their laser power meters are, one way to find out i guess.

Overall i think they deliver what is promised or fairly close to it - definitely not a con website or anything like that.

That sight will keep you occupied for a while thats for sure, and I always seem to come across things for cheap that I like to have on hand. Just have to know what to buy I guess like everything else. Benn, it looks like they use the same overspec 5mw 532 modules in the units they sell, 60mw to 80mw seams to be the average. Have you taken apart one to see if it has a pot?

The fact that they are located in the PRC made me debate the site's legitimacy and their laser quality too. They seem o.k. from what everyone is saying on here, maybe it's worth buying something from them. :/ However, international shipping to America might be problematic somehow.

I can vouch for o-like, I bought a 1W laser from them for only $54 a few weeks ago, less tha it would cost to make one myself

Has anyone ever bought anything from this company, how was it, and are they legitimate?

Welcome to O-like,the source of good quality laser products at unbeatable price and perfect service !

Thanks.

I ordered from them several times.

Summary, they are a poor quality vendor that sells their customer data to 3rd party marketing spam firms!
Your personal data will be milked for all it's worth buying anything from them.

The last time I conducted business with those asshats back in 2012, April ... the same evening as the transaction I was stalked online (via email, Skype, FaceTime ...) by a Chinese sales agent offering knockoff viagra,
to make my stamina very big size. This continued over the course of several weeks pressure-selling all matter of crap to me.
I also got spammed via Skype from O-like's other "connection businesses".

Stay away , far away from these fraudsters.

Yes it was.
They sold my info to other parties without my knowledge or consent.
Full stop. That makes them legally responsible for the spam. :scowl:

If you choose to do business with them you risk being compromised.
Your choice.

I won't be doing business with them again.

You won't be finding it on google.

Their customer data storage is done by eshop@sasa.com. This is a known resource pool for spammers and frudsters. It is in fact blocked/firewalled by a few countries including now in the Republic of Korea.
Also understand that any agreement in PRC is void as consumer protection does NOT exist under Chinese law. Period
Read the bottom agreement. Then understand what you just signed. The below statement is purely lip service.
