NOVA's discount ?

I had someone ask me if NOVA took away their discount....has anyone else ordered anything recently from them, and tried to use the warp5 forum discount code ? Let me know - I already have an email sent off to Magdalena asking about it, so I can find out what the dealio is....hopefully it is just a mistake ! :-/

yea, i saw this about 5 days ago or so and asked someone about it in laserchat. i went to add all sorts of optics and lens kits, as well as a couple other things to my cart to see wut the total would be after shipping and the rebate, but when i entered the rebate and hit update, it said that coupon has expired :-[

maybe theyll give us a new one, im sure they see that they get a buncha buisness from these forums.


on a side note, we should send an invitation to someone from their company to become a forum member, so when there are specific questions (such as the post here in general in regards to Optotronics RPL duty cycle vs Nova's Nova duty cycle) a representative that knows all of the product details could be here to clarify stuff. just a suggestion

DoughDTD - we have, and her name is Magdalena - the problem is, there is not NOVA rep here outside of business hours - so, essentially Monday-Friday till 5 or 6pm CST. I think yesterday was some sort of a Canadian holiday, so that would be a great reson why I have not received any emails from her yet

Yesterday was a civic holiday here.  Today, I am taking a day off and heading to the golf course.

Okay, all - they have fixed the issue with the code, and I have been told it is 100% working right now ! So, start flooding them with orders again hehehehehe !

I gather Magdalena was working rather late tongiht ! That is excellent for us, cause half you crazy peeps never sleep ! (Whistling......HAHAHAHAHA)

So - to go over it again, use : warp5 in order to get a 5% discount with NOVA, and since you can only use one referral at a time, if someone HAS referred you to them - just remember to put their name in the comments section of the order, asking them to please give that person the credit for your referral !

Oh, and as a side note - IF the only price difference between you getting the case, and the extra goodies stuff is $20.00 - BUY THE DAGGONE CASE ! LOL It is well worth it, and looks sharp, to boot ! The membership allows you to collect Lightyears - which can add up fairly fast, and you can get soem neat stuff from them with those points ! I am getting ready t oorder some goggles, since I am giving away all of mine in the raffle !

I started reading LPF after I already placed my order with Nova, so I discovered the "Warp5" discount code too late. I emailed Nova asking if they could retroactively honor the discount code (hey, it never hurts to ask, right?). I just got an email from Magdelena saying that they couldn't issue me a cash credit, but she did put 1145 Lightyears into my account to make up for it. That's awesome customer service right there!

AWESOME ! That is good to hear - their emails seem to be slowed down considerably as of late...I wonder if they are just that busy, or what ?

Yeah, it took me about 3 days to get a response to that email, but when you get an answer like that, it's hard to complain.
