Solution: Don't buy from them. Get a laserglow or optotronics laser instead. If they sold Spartan hosts I would consider buying depending on the price.

All of you guys are getting all bent out of shape over this. Ask for the thread to be junked for spam or email the guy to get some questions answered.

I should clarify... it's not that I hate WL products. In fact I like some of the designs a lot.

The business practices though, that's a whole other story.... which is why I do on occasion buy WL items, but only secondhand.

As for "new" or not... they're coming out shortly with the "new" beam expanders for four years... so new is probably a very relative concept for them. :undecided:

Ken oath InfinitusEquitas!

The design part Only is the reason why i own 2x arctics and a E3 from WL!

 I had to google that one Fiddy! Thank you

I think it was someone from your neck of the woods (Down Under) that put out a better version of the host.

Also Jetlasers has the look down now... I just wish I had enough to lay out for a nice 700mW green with them:p

The mini arctics are nice hosts, but probably not as nice as Dylan's would have been.

I have a spare mini arctic host too, not sure what to use it for though. Lazeerer did a ridiculously nice job with one of them for me for a 2.4W... though idk about sticking a 9mm diode in there.

Laseerer does some awesome clean and attractive work!

I do not see why people bother to buy from low level and iffy Chinese companies when they could buy seriously superior units right here from forum member/builders.

I can understand buying excellent Chinese products like Jetlasers and a couple of others but the guys on the forum do some amazing stuff at very reasonable rational prices- excellent value for money spent.

Probably is that people are too lazy to investigate what the buliders on the forum are doing and just go to a big web site and order whatever.

So much for new lower prices---the now listed 600mw Hulk at $799 is $100 -$225 more expensive than comparable perhaps superior products from at least 2 other suppliers. See below.

Skylaser/laserbtb PL 532nm 600mw full web site price is 704.50 and in current GB the PL532nm 700mw is $575 discounted from $785.

Jetlasers PL-E 532nm 600mw is $699 full web site price and in last GB $610

^ They lowered their Hulk prices a lot. Was told that there is also the chance of getting a +800mW, near 1000mW unit.

Of course there is much competition these days.

Especially getting JETLASERS onto the LPF boat was some of the best things happen in the past years.
