do you have a picture of the beam, how's the divergence ?



Don't know about the 100mW 532's but my 200mW is a pretty solid module. The leads do break off easily, but you can just solder them back on. I might have gotten lucky, as I have heard that other people have not had the same results. :shhh:

I think I deserve credit for finding that "laser host" first (see the fail thread)!

But seriously... How funny would it be to wire up a 100 green into that thing :crackup:

As to the power output of the DX module, I haven't had it lpm'd, but it does all the burning tricks and the beam is super bright. According to my little Warske thermal lpm, it is above 130mW last time I checked.

Here is a pic of the beam.

Hopefully the US DX site can resend the missing 19 drivers I ordered that didn't show up!

I just replied to the ticket I opened so we will see how well the 2 sites work together.

So here's the story. I ordered 20 drivers from DX 2 months ago. I waited 20 days and when the tracking didn't update to show it had reached the US I was a little worried so I opened a ticket. They said give it 30 days and the package ended up arriving on the 28th day.

Much to my dismay it only had 1 driver. So I opened a ticket. And after a week or so they said that they could refund me or they could reship. I waited couple weeks giving it some thought and testing the LED's that I had to see if they would even light up if I used the one driver and ran them in series.

I'm glad I waited because I saw this tread and looked up the driver to see if they had it in stock.

So I contacted them and asked if the US shop could send me new ones. This was their response:

It didn't say out of stock when I emailed them so I checked this morning not 10 minutes ago:

So they refunded my money for an item that they say is out of stock but their website shows not only that it is in stock but they will let you put it in your cart... I don't think I will be buying from DX again. :undecided:
