Don't know how i managed to miss that, thanks Amigo! I ordered the 50mW versions, I'll be happy at this price point with anything over 40 ... if they ever GET here, that is!

I can't wait to see some more of the 5mW's LPMed. Hopefully they are all overspec. Isn't DX the same way? I guess its just cheaper for chinese company's to put in the lowest power module available instead of integrating a complicated circuit to make sure it is only 5mW, although I know a couple companies do actually do that.

Aaaaargh - does anyone know of an ENGLISH site to track China Post? every site I hit gives me results in what i believe may very well be Mandarin (unsure) ... All I can tell from that are 3 dates, 9/3/2009, 9/3/2009, and 9/4/2009 - I'm assuming those are HK acceptance and dispatch, but I'd really like to find out a little more. Thanks!

They told me if you are from USA and you can track it on usps website. usps not good never update.

I got my LaserBee just now. Here's the result of the measured pointers I received (stabilized values):
5x 5mW greenies: 2x ~10mW (slow buildup), 3x ~30mW (peak 35mW)
2x 50mW greenies: 2x ~45mW (peak 55mW)
1x 200mW green: 111mW (peak 154mW for about 5s) (Edit!)
Fresh alkalines used. No IR-filter. If you have recommendations on what to consider while buying an IR filter, please follow up
In regards to your translation problems; mail buyincoins support and they'll translate it for you.

They're here! The package must have been on the mailmans dash, though - they're actually very warm to the touch (which explains why the first one I fired up "just to see" was an almost perfect TEM01 and 42mW output, hee hee!)

i would ask you one think to do... it is very important for my Curiosity...can you test the same laser using nimh rechargeable batteries? everyone test laser with fresh alkalines... but seriosly... who use alkalines... and for how long time they give 1.5v? for a stort time...... it should be wonderfull if who test lasers.. can also test(or only test) them with nimh at about 1.35 volt...just to understand in the REAL USAGE.. what's the true power use 3v total... is a thing that 95% of people does not do.i hope you undersstand me..
i think so many member would to KNOW how can change in % the power.. use alkalines or nimh....(maybe the 45mw could be 35.... and the 111 stable... 90.. 80mw)
