Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to lasers, and all things that go with it... Ive owned a few 5mw pens, a 30mw, and a 100mw that worked for about 3 minutes then died :(, So I've been searching this forum for whats good to buy and Lazerer seems like a pretty reliable source.. I'm looking at green lasers and i'm really thinking of either the 200mw rifle or the 400 mw stick. That being said I noticed the Rifle is out of stock and I've tried to email and find out when it will be back but no luck.. also there paypal and credit card payment options are down.. wtf? haha. Anyone have any clue? O-like all as good or is lazier worth waiting for, I'm interested in bang for my buck..

On a side note to that I don't know if anyone had noticed about the aluminum box it comes with and how the prices changes for it depending on what laser you buy, yet it is the same exact box..It sells for $13.99 from the accessories store, $20.00 for some lasers and then $25.00 for others, yet I'm pretty sure they're all the same size. haha idk someone correct me if i'm wrong?

Both Lazereer and O-like are reliable sources of acceptable quality lasers at good prices.

I do not know if Lazereer's payment servies are down, but if they are, give it an hour or two and they'll sort it out. It's not in their interest to not be able to recieve payments, y'know :D

I do not know what do you mean by aluminium box...

The Aluminium Cases will be different sizes.

The case I got ($19.99) with my Lazerer Rifle measures 28.5cm x 16.5cm x 6.5cm.

Uhh, excuse the distinct lack of caffeine in my bloodstream :D
(And yes I'm perfectly capable of accounting absolutely every typo to not drinking enough coffee).

Although, technically, the statement stands, Angelos is also a nice guy.

But regarding companies... yeah uhh, you know what I meant.

How about survival laser's Blue laser package for $265, I believe it asks me to put it together myself.. I'm generally pretty handy. Is it hard to do? It seems like it might be more of a quality product... and lots more mw :p...but blue

hahahaha Eud, I know, it happens to me too, only when I'm on 2 hours of sleep though :p

Sunshine, you would DEFINITELY need safety glasses for those though. Which means you can't look at the dot or beam (unless you're outside and pointing at the sky, in which case safety glasses are not needed). It's your choice, just saying that it CANNOT be used for "pointing" purposes because even looking at the dot can blind you.

I've been researching for about 2 months now and I most definitely have come to understand at least that much  haha. I would probably be using the laser a lot outside and for minimal burning. I have a few 5 mw's for indoor use with my cats. How would the 1.5w compare to say a 200mw green beam in the night sky.. and for that matter whats the lowest mw that blue can be seen very nicely outside?

blue isnt that visible, green is, so the 1.5w and the 200mw would probably be around the same brightness.

personally i think you should go with the stick from lazerer, its sleek and looks good. the cyber may be waterproof, but i dont think many people want to test that ;)

1w-2w looks really nice and the beam is quite visible, but like i said before, green is the best if you want a goo beam. my 100mw green is very visible at night, i can see the dot like 2miles away, it probably goes further, but i cant see it due to tall building and trees etc.
just make sure there arent any planes around.
