Hi guys!
I ordered for over $220 at Lazerer on December 4th and my order is still pending. Of couse the payment as been accepted (PayPal).
Should I be worried? It's been over a month now since the payment has been accepted (December 6th). I know Max has a lot of orders but it's written processing shouldn't take more than 7 days... And it was supposed to be a christmas prensent... Guess I'll be late!
So does anyone have any experience with Lazerer? I payed $25 for fast shipping (5 days). Shoud I open a case on PayPal now ? (I can open a case till January 18th - 45 days after I payed).
Thanks for your help guys!

I would at the very least expect a refund of $25 for the shipping that wasn't honored. Has the company provided any details as to the ridiculous delay?

I feel your pain I ordered from Dragonlasers just before Christmas and my order hasn't left China after 15 days now and counting

I haven't contacted him yet (well I did but that was for PayPal, the day I ordered because I didn't pay by answering his payment request, I sent him money "manually" (his invoice didn't appear on PayPal for iOS) but he said it was fine)
I'm going to contact him now. Shipping was $28 for EMS Zone 3.
So on December 6th I got : Payment approved. We usually process every order within 7 business day (SAT & SUN not included). It will usually take about 3-5 days delivery to most destination after it was sent. Thanks for your support.Have a nice day

I would say open a Paypal dispute. Continue to try contacting him, and only pay when you are 100% sure your order will/has been processed. MANY people have been in this situation with lazerer...

Now, another option would be to open the dispute, get your money back, then buy from someone here on the forums- I am assuming you bought a 445? User "Blord" here sells some great complete 445nm lasers for good prices. Or, you could build a laser yourself with a kit from user "Jayrob". Many options.

Hope it works out for you!

I wanted to buy from Blord a 1.5W 445nm but I thought I'd wait. I bought 2 laser at Lazerer.com, one 532nm 200mW for me and a 30mW as a Christmas gift for a friend. I thought 1W+ was too dangerous as it's mainly for pointing not burning. I didn't want to set fire on everything that crossed the beam :). So mainly safety reasons.
And I read positives reviews about Lazerer (overspec lasers, Max is cool)...
So I'll open a case in 24/48hrs (it's around midnight in China I believe) on PayPal...

I must say this: Even though the 532nm's aren't 1W, 200mW and 30mW can still cause a lot of damage if used inappropriately.

Im not saying you will of course, just trying to explain how anything above 5mW causes permanent damage if used in a immature manner.

But anyways, im crossing my fingers for you! Hope the laser arrives soon my friend :)

It took about a month for my 532nm tiny 100mW laser to get to my house. Well a little bit more than a month, about 5 weeks or so. It took them 2 weeks to process my order, and 3 to ship (I used the HK post shipping, no EMS.) Good luck my friend. My laser tops at 105mW which is good it's a little overspec, lights matches and burns through tape which is fun. Bright as can be so be careful if it ever comes!

Thanks for you support guys :) ! I got no reply today, but I know he sometimes takes a couple of days before replying. I may wait until monday to open a PayPal case... Anyways, getting PayPal to refund me a 3B class laser might be a bit complicated... We'll see!

If I were you I wouldn't wait too long. If I remember correctly, you only have 45 days after the date of transaction to file a dispute.

Seeing as you purchased a Class 3B laser though, PP might not even continue with the case and will just close it. It still might be worth a try though, honestly to me, your best bet is to wait for your laser to arrive(not much else you can do).

Goodluck!

Nothing is described in the PayPal payment as I sent the money without using the invoice thing. So they can't know if it's a class 3B or class 1 laser.
So I'll try to open a case on Monday (that's 40 days since I've purchased).

Alright, sounds like a good plan! While the case is being "reviewed" you can still try and contact the company who sold you the laser, it wouldn't hurt.

Best of luck my friend :)

Yeh, sadly in most cases, sellers don't tend to react until you start a claim, and the funds are pulled from their account.
