Lazerer - enters the computer market?

Long time no see at this forum. But I was checking for a new laser when I remembered lazerer.com, so I went on there and I'm met by computers and iPods!

Just joking, that is the default store when you install a new OpenCart installation, do you think they will add back the old products?

Oh, so you saw it too? I was going to start a thread on it, as that greatly concerns me... Lazerer is my favorite place and I've placed quite a few orders with him and I wanted to place a couple more on top of what I got coming in right now... Hopefully they do get done with the upgrades and get all the lasers back up as I aint seeing NONE. I tried emailing Max and I got a return email which was your standard "sales@lazerer.com user does not exist", which sorta freaks me out a little. WHERE HAVE MY LAZERRRRRS GONE!! NOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks... Yeah, it just seems weird, a super sudden change like that with no information on the site prior or anything. I'm just glad I was able to get the order placed in for the one I really wanted and it shipped before any of this. I haven't tried logging in with my user/pass on there yet and I don't think I will, because I don't know exactly what's up. All of the contact information reads "123 Your Street. Your Town, YT, 12345" and the listed phone number is listed at "1234567890"... Oh well, have to wait and see what happens.

I think they have had trouble with their site from time to time but it always has come back on and I don't think there is any reason they would have gone out of business, so lets hope it's back up again in a few days like how this happened a few times in the past.

Well apparently now it's back up. I just visited it again a while ago and it was at least. I DID notice that when the other site was up, that the URL bar showed some "noinfoID" or "noIPid" in the address, something like that.

Strange.... I just checked 3 minutes after you noticed it back up and its still that generic non related website...

Guess I'll check back in a day or two. I always like browsing there just to see what might be new. :)

And checked as of 9:16 PM on 6/24, it's back up to normal. I don't know what in the dickens is going on lol. POLE REVERSAL!

Ok now this is too weird. I just checked back and now and it is a generic Bible selling website... I wish I could take a screenshot. :p

It is strange as it seems that you can see the website while I can't seem to get it to load up.

They were most likely reinstalling their content management system and then importing the product database from backup, you probably caught them in the middle of that process before their product database was back up.
