I know this company gets negative reviews from folks here, but I just wanted to add my experience.

I ordered a 450nm 2000mw laser from them very early in June. There weren't any emails from the company regarding the order so I just waited and by the end of last week I figured I was SOL.

It arrived today (about 3 weeks) and was exactly what I ordered. The beam is bright and well collimated I don't currently have a way to measure the beam power but it seems to be in the ballpark for the stated output.

Even though it took a bit of time with no communication, I pleased with the order. I'll definitely order from them again.

Which pointer did you buy from them? Could you post a link to it? Thanks! :)

I don't think they get a bad rep for not delivering - I think they get a bad rep for false advertising and scummy tactics, with some price gouging thrown in. Such as the 10W blue (which doesn't exist, no 10W diodes yet, unless it's 2x diodes combined which I doubt) that they advertise for ~$850 with AN AMAZING 94% SAVING FROM THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF ~$14,000. Yeah - maybe 5-6 years ago 10W of blue would have cost you $14,000.

Further edit: Or the "5000mW" 301 laser which I doubt it is actually anywhere near 5W for $160 "reduced" from $1000. Further Further Edit: Probably an overpriced 1W, maybe an overpriced 2W in a 301 host. Clearly I'm in the wrong line of work.

I just ordered the 532nm, 400mW pointer from them yesterday. I'll post when it gets here and how close to the website specs it is. It was $51.99 with $2.99 shipping insurance. I hope this experience is as good as the first one.

Do you have a power meter, or access to a power meter you can use to confirm how close to spec the output power is?

Thanks! :)
