Well, I guess we're gonna have to find out how up to spec these lasers are... I ordered 1x 200mW Green Single Beam Laser Pointer Pen. I'll use the Laserbee I to test the output and post pictures when it arrives. Though I did ask about output when placing my order and the response was that these pointers usually operate in the 130-180mW range.

^^^If that's the case, then why lie about the output by saying that it puts out 200mW^^^
Be honest with your customers....That's what O-like has done and look at their reputation here. Honesty and not being missleading will get you far in this industry.

I agree 100%. I'm not sure what the deal is with so many companies overspecing their lasers.... I suppose they get a lot of customers who don't have access to an LPM, and are just eager to have a high power laser.. After all, a 130mW green and a 200mW green look equally bright to the human eye. On a side note, their customer service was excellent.

I fully expected their customer service to be excellent. Merry has been very quick to respond to any of my questions. :)

Also, a few days ago they did update description and pics for the modules. Hopefully they are doing the same thing for pens and their other lasers right now.

Btw, I thought one person one chance meant that only one laser per person, not that only one person will have a chance!

Could it be that when a seller says 200mW- typical 160-180mW-- that they mean 'less than 200mW'? Like safety the labels that use < or >?? just a guess?? btw the longest I had to wait for a PM back was about one day--most times it has only been a few hours or less.---Len

Laserlands deleted the dup. threads-once they found out that spamming is frowned upon here. Another first I think--btw PM laserlands and you will get a quick answer. not rocket surgery!!
