Hello everyone.
I went to Laserglow to buy a Polaris-1000 but after reading towards the bottom of the Pricing page it says

" Please note: This laser cannot be shipped to the United States. If you live in the USA please consider the*standard Hydra laserwhich has simple push-button operation and is Class IIIa compliant. If you require high power, then please consider the*447 nm laboratory laser*which provides similar output but is not portable.*Click here for more information."

I am in Spokane Valley, WA. Looking to buy my first Quality production laser but seems DIY is the only way to go.
Anyone have this laser? Should I be looking at a different company to buy from! Laserglow has excellent reviews which is why I went with them but now I don't know where to begin.
Please give some advice.
Thanks.

use an extra-us remailing service / mailbox, i know that for us (i'm european) there are a lot of remailing service in the US, to buy a lot of cheaper thinks that are not shipped to Europe... so, i think that there is the reverse system (from europer or canada to us), i don't know the sites but you can try to search on google for a remailing service based outside us, probabbly you will pay something more for the shipment but you can have your laser. so the only way to have your polaris is to ship it outside US (canada or europe) and after this reship it back to US.

Isn't customs where they actually open up the packages and see whats inside?

Customs is so uncalled for.
Uncalled for? Without customs guns, explosives, drugs, and much more would be brought into the country without any stop. Unless you like having an 80% death rate then don't complain. Under your logic, opening a package would require a bomb squad and just existing would require a bullet proof vest. Every where you go people would be covered in filth doped up on the latest overseas drug import. It might seem uncalled for because of lasers but it does more good than harm.

Countries have Customs for the same reason that your mouth has taste buds. It's good to know what you're ingesting before it gets inside you.
