Laserbtb and lost shipment

Has anyone had any experience on how Laserbtb handles a lost shipment?

I tracked my package all the way to my city.....and then...poof, DHL looses it!
I got a call from DHL saying that the package is lost and to inform the shipper (laserbtb) to file a claim.

After numerous conversations with a DHL supervisor, I was able to acquire a Case ID# for the lost shipment. I let Laserbtb (Kevin) know and gave him all the required information so he could file a claim on his end. I assume that he will send out a new laser? He has not answered any emails in the last 2 days:(
Anyone have experience with this?

I'm waiting for my laser from laserbtb too, it is being processed at the sort facility. I contacted Kevin to ask him a question, and he replied only three days later. So I think you should just wait a few more days for an answer from him. Let us know ;)

^As said by Jaggions, do wait a few more days and see what happens. If you have Skype try sending Kevin a message on there. He will usually respond a lot quicker(at least from what I have experienced), just check the laserbtb website for his Skype.

I will give Laserbtb a few more days to respond and then start a "claims dispute" through my credit card company. The difference in response time between Lasebtb and Jet Lasers is amazing. I get a response from Jet Lasers within 15 minutes!!!

Laserbtb makes good lasers....but if they don't guarantee delivery, like Jet Lasers, then buyer beware! I hope you have better luck than me....I will keep everyone informed on how Laserbtb handles this "lost shipment".

Hey Mike,

Just go to the laserbtb website, click the phone labeled "laserbtb" and call. Once the call starts, hang up and it will leave you on his contact page where you can add him as a contact/message him :)

There have been plenty of recorded cases around here where lasers have been lost or stolen by customs and they sent a new laser. Don't forget in instances like this the company has made a decision - they've taken a hit on that sale but potentially retained you as a future loyal customer. It's a gamble and if they think you're trying to diddle them they understandably won't pay out. Be as descriptive as possible in your claims/messages and I'm sure they'll come through. They aren't the fastest at responding, but they're no scammer.

I actually sent them a "Lost Package Claim ID" generated by DHL. I also sent them DHL correspondence verifying lost shipment. Laser btb can track package and see that it did not get delivered. They can also call DHL and confirm. It doesn't get clearer than that! Laserbtb also has shipping insurance for this type of loss....so the only one incurring any risk is me.

Hey man!

Pretty crap about your shipment. I am sure kevin and you will sort it out. Give kevin tike to come with a solution before you decide to claim your money back.

Kevin has allways been pretty decent with this kind of problems as far as i know!

Kevin is legit. Don't worry a bit.

Worse case scenario is that you need to wait for a replacement laser. There is no scenario in which you lose your money :)

They should refund you fully if you ask me hopefully. and dhl sucks yeah i dont like them or fedex or whatever for some reason they always seem to screw up..

That's why I ordered from Laserbtb....everybody has had good experiences and they make a great laser. I have just become a little nervous since my last 5 emails (starting last Tuesday) have gone unanswered. I've tried both their Emails, and even Skype! The mark of a good company is how they handle problematic issues. I would consider this before making future purchases.

Its Monday in China.....and still no response from Laserbtb....getting concerned. I sense Jet Lasers is in my future!

maybe they investigate first before contact you what happend, give it some time im sure they dont happy either.

I agree with you....however, it takes less than 5 minutes to call DHL and verify that package is lost. I even forwarded the "lost package" claim# to Laserbtb. 6 days and no response?

This is not good.
