Re: Thinklasers Bad Review.....

Thinklasers...if I did business like these clowns...i'd be out of business. I guess its easy to BS when you can hide behind the internet. 2-1/2 months of lies and more lies. They actually blamed their own incompetence on the manufacturer. The fact is, if you dont have the laser in hand, just tell the buyer so they can make a decision about what they want to do.

Just want to let everybody know, if your thinking of doing business with these people, better pull up a chair and a good book, because your going to be waiting a while.

So, heres my question to you guys; where can I buy a good laser and have it delivered in 3 days? Thanks for your help in advance.

SM

Normally I don't care But you did a Necro -Post this is from 03-13-2010 12:37 PM... Last year....

And the reason I cared is because your question should be 1st: Searched For, 2ed and if you still can't find it make a new Post with your question "So, heres my question to you guys; where can I buy a good laser and have it delivered in 3 days? Thanks for your help in advance." And then you will get a better reply than asking a new question in a old thread...

I'm just trying to help you get more info faster.

I was in contact with them several months ago. They promised me a Sonar S1 (awesome looking host!!). I really thought they changed after these posts..

...The wicked lasers we carry are the exact models, as we are the Only
distributor of wicked goods and we are based in the USA, NY. THe lasers are
up to spec and are the actual wicked brands themselves.

After looking at your thorough review, we would be happy allow you to test
and review the laser, assuming you include some basics like where the laser
comes from. I'm sure you've seen negative talk around the forums which has
been improving. The company has changed hands since January 2010, and has
been geared towards providing real customer support. A phone number that
gets answere, emails that get answered, and live chat that gets answered,
seemingly unlike all of the other laser providers out there.

So it would be a review of a wickedlasers product, but that of course it had
been provided by Thinklasers.com.

When the stock is replenished in the next week, many orders will finally be
going out from the manufacturing backorder, we have done our best to please
everyone who has purchased, will always award a refund if they do not want
to wait, and on occassion we ship a free laser as appreciation of the
clients patience. Believe me, we know that when you purchase something like
a laser, you want it as soon as possible.

When they lasers are available, and it is the exact same model:
S1 Sonar Lunar Purple Laser Pointer

If you could just send us your address information, and how long it usually
takes for a full thorough review, we will ship you one as soon as they are
available.
...

...ok so we were mislead on stock, all GREEN stock is filled and going out ,
purples and reds are about 10 days away or so from us, and a bit more from
wicked. You will hear the same thing from WL, as TL stock is based off of
them, but TL does have priority as only USA, or worldwide, distributor or wl
products.

I am concerned however of the blatant slander against Thinklasers.com on
LPforums, search thinklasers on their, and you will see most of the positive
posts have been deleted. They play favorites and if there is blatant slander
going on, they shoudl be worried, because we've seen this. Also, you may
notice that every other laser providder has tried to copy us to a "T" as
far as marketing and site designs. I we designed our site as is, markted by
utilizing google, and have been copied word for word in many cases.

So sorry about the delay on the unit, but you will be getting one. Also, it
would be nice to inform people that we always have 1800 #, live chat, and
email that actuallmey works, and is available from real people here in the
USA. Hundreds of WL customers have hounded us for their order info and we
simply cannot provide it, we can only provide details on our own orders, we
are not Wicked, we are TL, in New york city.

now, on forums people get petty, and many will try to bash the post, because
bygons will be bygons and you can rebut anything with any argument. But we
are sending you that unit and I hope you enjoy it. Oh, and that 'colin' bot
from wicked was used because of all the talk of support from us here and
"colin" , myself, actually being a real person for people to talk to. But
you may see that name will change, but that is besides the point.

Please email again in about 10 days with your shipping info, and really test
the laser for what itis. WE don't want anything sugar coated, make it
honest. If there are problems, tell people. If their are positives tell
people. The review we leave entirely up to you, and would not ask to see it
as its a review, isn't the point not to let the company edit it? haha

The difference is we are in the USA, have real support, slightly cheaper
shipping,. and will be carrying stock on hand lowering shipping costs
further and delivery time in the near future...

I had contact with them till December 2010, but after this, no more reply. It´s all about empty rhetoric.

Re: Thinklasers Bad Review.....

"US" as in LPF members. You are exactly the type of supplier I try to avoid. Talk about self-serving. I promote suppliers I have good experience with. My experience with you has been TERRIBLE. I'll remember that.
I apologize for my wrong interpretation of your comment. It was very suspicious when combined with nearly every post of yours with praise for laserland. I'm not self-serving, there are competitors selling their goods here everyday and that is good, it is bad however if they try to tilt the slate in their direction with made of reviews from imaginary customers and it happens here quite often (you're a new member here, so perhaps you haven't read enough posts to see it).

When I read your comment, I looked at your previous posts and it seemed obvious to me and also to a moderator as well as they just don't go off banning people without reading the post and checking posting history, IP addresses and such and coming to their own conclusions and taking action if needed.

Again I am sorry for my misinterpreting the meaning of your comment.

Re: Thinklasers Bad Review.....

Apology accepted. I am sorry if I come across one-sided. I recommend this company due to the fact that I had lousy experience with some of these other companies (WickedLasers, and expecially Thnklasers). While shopping around, I found a company that supplied product on time, and (most important) replied back to me in a reasonable time if I had questions. Their quality is not the highest, but they do have good value. I have been having fun with lasers for the past 2 years. I have green, red, violet, blue, and IR lasers. 5mw to 1W. Limited budget, so I try to buy cheap, but not the cheapest. I'm sure that many other LPF members are just like me. Like the lasers, but don't want to spend $100's on a 5mw laser pointer. Once hooked, you have to keep feeding the addiction. You know what I mean. I will just lurk some more, or not 'name drop' in future posting. Let's get on with it and enjoy our obsession.
