Jetlaser Or WickedLasers?

Yeah, I thought for sure it was going to be a negative experience. I even convinced myself that they were just going to scam me out of the money I paid them. I started to feel more comfortable once I brought up the issue to their department. They e-mailed me back in a timely manner and even made a few attempts to call me regarding the issue. After that, I thought "if they were trying to scam me, they wouldn't have put time and effort into my issue." lol

If you are a patient person (unlike me), I'd say they definitely have great products. But I also hear SciFi Lasers and LaserBTB have quality lasers for cheaper, and you won't have to wait as long for shipping. ((I will likely order from one of those vendors next))

It must be due to a lack of any REAL searching on this topic- JL has been compared and contrasted SO MUCH I can't even see any need for some additional debate unless some are just WL shills coming here in some vain attempt to damage control--too late for that now IMHO..
FYI (from a VERY reliable source) right after WL launched their artic series with hype and hoopla in abundance and claims that would and should scare the beejesus out of ANY parent --WL contacted JL and asked for help with the building as it was clear there was NO WAY the output of finished laser was ever going to meet the demand BUT WL afaik never did refuse any payments or give honest notice of the delays-- JL replied that they wanted NO connection with WL due to the extremely cheap parts they wanted to use.

to undersatnd the entire story of WL and the effect they had on us--our forum-- those we buy from (gladly) and the danger of selling such lasers to any kid with the $$.. and you had to be there--

the current hype at WL is WAY toned down from what we first saw..so many of you were NOT here and therefore cannot see what we saw..

you guys seem to ONLY be looking at the specs and purdy pics- fools!!!

WL wait as long as long as 3 months

With JL I start to worry if they take more than 4 days to get here.

JL replaces defectives - no Qs asked- and sometime they even cover the shipping.

they send a graph BEFORE you pay--

and while 'we' no longer feel the need to more GBs (I hosted 8 of them) I am still here anytime a JL customer needs help.. ANY HELP- no matter where you got it.


Wish I had optimistic comments for you regarding the laws down there-

WL is filthy rich ATM and can afford to replace as many as can get lost ot seized-
THB I personlly would not take your order as i could never send a second laser if the first one did not make it--

You might ask Gray to split the laser into two boxes sending seperate and thus no actual complete working laser in either box- (& of course you do NOT want any batteries sent with any laser that crosses borders EVER)-- the two shippings will add some to your shipping cost but that is $$ well spent IMO-

Today I received a weird mail from WL.
They are changing owner and read for yourself on this picture ;-)

I dont see how they can make a business in the long run selling only 5mW lasers, whats the point really?

I am so happy I found this forum. Imagine I had ordered weeks ago with WL to find out weeks later I paid 40% more than necessary..
I am very confident waiting now for JL to send me the precious goods I ordered.

Hey i had read a few of your posts earlier this month but you didnt have your location as New Zealand.... i dont mean to burst your bubble but are you aware that earlier this year we had two new Laws put in place with regards to Lasers? heres a thread i made around the first law http://laserpointerforums.com/f53/new-zealand-laser-law-change-due-march-1st-2014-a-87079.html and the second was around july which states you can only use your lasers On private property, not in public ,
If your Laser makes it through customs tell me as i would be quite interested
