Does anyone know what has happened to laserbtb? I was going to order a laser however when I went to checkout, they no longer support paypal or cc. I was quite disappointed. Have we heard anything from them? :cryyy:

I bought from them earlier this year no problem,:D but can't seem to find why they've changed this. It seems they now only accept WU and wire. :can::(

Wow, that's very strange. I just bought a 650 LP unit from them and paid with PayPal without any problems, but if they don't take PP anymore and only do wire that's one more company I'll need to take off my possible purchase list.

Looks like I may have to get my units from DL now!

That's unfortunate to hear, I was planning to buy another BTB but unless they start accepting CCs, it looks like second hand is my option. I don't trust wire transfers and have been screwed over by WU before.

I can see that hurting their business in the long run so they must be in the process of getting another merchant. It's almost unheard of to not take credit/debit cards when selling to people overseas.

There's something going on at laserbtb, I've been trying to access their site all morning, and all I keep getting is a "this site is not available" message. Very strange.

I tried loading their site from my phone & got on without a problem. The fact they no longer accept PP however is going to be a severe hit to their sales, oh well :(

Hopefully no problem, I am trying this while at work, so maybe this is their subtle way of telling me they don't want me looking at laserstuff all day! ;)

Sorry everyone, I think I was wrong. Rather than the standard pay and be done, now you must copy the order number provided and seperately connect to PayPal and send the charge with the order number in the description. They provide the email to send it to.

I think no worry Alex, just maybe a slightly more bothersome process that previous times. I'll probably never buy from them again though, solely because Sanwu offers better deals and have programming in their driver ciruits.

Well that's good to know. Definitely don't like feeling like im jumping through hoops while trying to buy something but as long as they still accept PP then all is good!

Sanwu is top notch in my book, and for the quality of the machining and overall design, the prices are very reasonable!

Well if anyone is ordering from them from the states I would like a 50mW 405nm pen. It's the only wavelength I'm missing in their pens but it's too much $ in shipping just to buy that unit.

the pens arent anything special, why not just let a member build a pen host of your choice instead?
