I really doubt that WL itself is even shipping 50 of the S3 per month.Yeah, I've read the forums and the posts claiming this company is a scam. But they are also claiming (on their chat) to be CURRENTLY shipping 50-100 of the S3 each week and I'd like to see if there's ANY truth in this. Thanks!

If I were you, I would buy a used S3 from someone on the forum or better yet and custom build from a forum member...QUOTE]
I am open to offers. Here are the requirements: 445nm, at least a full watt of output, body style similar to S3, $300 or under, US made and payable with Paypal. I'll be using it for laser interferometry, so it must also mate to various lenses. That's last bit will require a bit of discussion.
For scientific work like interferometry, these cheap 445nm direct inject diode won't help you. You need a real lab system. These 445nm pointers are multimode with very, very short coherence length, so they are really only good for making a pretty blue beam, burning things from a short distance and of course as a light source in projectors. If I were you, I would buy a used S3 from someone on the forum or better yet and custom build from a forum member...QUOTE]

That's funny...Under the given conditions of the experiment the laser will be used for, the 445nm will do nicely. It's the power that's important.
Oh, I did leave off one important requirement: it MUST be able to operate continuously for at least 20 min in TEMoo mode. Get back to me if there are any interested parties. Thanks.
