Just surfing the web and came accrost this nice looking Laser. At least the host looks pretty sweet. Anyone heard of them?

Gadget.brando.com

I dont like that is gives "aproxamite" output of 200mw but if its close and with a battery and charger thrown in it would not be a bad deal.

I just love the look of that host

I did a quick search of the company forum and found no hits on the company name.

Host looks cool, although you can't trust the output of any 200mW rated green laser these days without some reviews.

Yea I know. Thats a lot of $$$ to throw away just to find out if its up to spec or not. Would be nice if someone here had dealt with them. Anybody?

I have similar/same laser from another company. It is focusable but the minimum divergence I could achieve without modification was ~1.7mRad (spec was 1.5 to 2.5).
Duty cycle is pretty short - <60sec runtime before need to cool down. Don't be mislead by the big head and the heavy look (it's indeed heavy).
I bought it as 170-200mW unit for $118 shipped; they measured it as 180mW (green + IR).
Haven't heard of this company, though.
