Well, i allways check ebay for "ending soon" laser equipment. I found a 1W IR diode for $5 and decided to bid, did $5,5 and won.

It was 8 days ago, i tried contact by 4 ebay messages and 2 emails and nothing, they just ignore me. They are a big ebay store with a lot of positive qualifications so i'm surprised, that's the first time it happens to me.

So, i'll wait until 14th to contact ebay buyer protection and try to get my money back, it's $5,5 + $13 (SHIPPING)

Do you think i'll get my money back?
Do you know this seller, is it really a fraud?

If you want more information i can post the emails/messages and paypal confirmation here.

Hope it is fraud so you can get your money back, $18.50 is a lot for a 1W infrared diode...
I'll see if I can find a link for one that is cheaper.

I asked this guy a question a long time ago (before joining LPF) and he was very obliging in terms of answering my stupid questions

This guy sent me 6 diodes instead of 5, good value, none have been DOA

actually i've seen cheaper prices but i bought this because of the qualifications.. Anyways, i'm not even interested in an IR diode, i was only going to press into a module and keep it waiting until i have proper eye protection.

The problem is, now i feel i can't trust ebay sellers even if they have thousands of positive qualifications
