Has anyone ever had a problem importing laser to the US. Im in arizona and about to start ordering lasers. Ive read about problems in some countries with getting them confiscated by customs. One post suggested ordering everything one by one in a separate order to reduce the risk of loosing the whole order. Do I need to worry about that at all here?

As far as I know there aren't really any restrictions on lasers in the US, unless you point them at planes. They're relatively harmless, even high powered ones are LoS, so I don't think you really have anything to worry about.

as far as actually importing them, I've had a laser confiscated once and had to talk with the FDA and have it destroyed luckily i got a refund

i just ordered a laser pointer once (it was via UPS though) and i had to send a message to the FDA and have it destroyed as it had no FDA registration or safety features

dang, that sucks. but its good to know how secure ups can be.
