This has been going on for almost a week. As of tomorrow Monday. One full week. Some one must be really out to get them. I feel bad for them. Not every one knows about logging in under the secure form ''https'' They must be loosing a ton of business.
They probably average a few hundred orders a day. I'll bet that has been cut much more than by half.
Any business no mater were their located is going to feel some pain from a hit like this.

www2.dealextreme.com , works for me.

Dear Valued Customers,

As you may have all noticed that there are constant site offline in the past few days. This is because DX's website was under DDOS attack from Monday and even till now the attack is still going on.

However, our technical team have been working full time on this issue. We have managed to lock down the possible sources of this attack and taken whatever measures that are necessary to fight against this malicious attack. Although the attack is continuing, the website now has turned back to a state that most of the functions are working correctly. There are still some minor issues while visiting but in general the site is secure and especially the orders can be made without problems. The processing of your orders and CSE tickets are not affected.

DX always values each of its customers as the most important resource. The attack is an open defiance against all the customers' interest. Therefore this behavior must be seriously condemned. Our technical team will continue to fight against this attack and try every possible means to overcome this difficulty. Your understanding is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
DX team

Yup the message on the regular site if it ever loads for you asks you to visit the www2 version, it says it's safe to order. Apparently they are adding lots of items and improving the site.

None of the previous links work anymore and I read that "attacks thing too". I just think too many people want cheap quality/price Chinese goods :).

Actually (this moment) i'm trying to fill an order in DX site for my shop ..... it's more than half hour that i try to do that :gun:.

Half of the times, i get 403 error.

Randomly, i get service unavailable or server too busy.

At random intervals, site block my IP (that mean i receive the error "You are not authorized to view this page - The Web server you are attempting to reach has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the Web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list." :p) ..... but not all the times ..... basically, when i add an item to the cart, it work 80% of the times, when i try to delete an item or change catalog page, it work 10% of the times, and 90% errors.

Don't know who maintain their site, but i suggest them to fire him and find some peoples that is a bit more expert in e-commerce sites and IIS db maintenance ..... or they end to get a lot of frustrated and abandoning customers.
