Thats right, im a customer service nightmare.
Im leaving certain details out to protect the innocent (namely DrLava)
i purchased a product from lava a few weeks ago when he got it in stock. It was something that i had to assemble, and it was the first thing like this i have ever assembled. Im not a very good solderer and it seems that i screwed it up. Well i contacted Lava and he did everything in his power to assist me. He knew exactly how to troubleshoot the problem and all i needed was a multi meter (wich was required for the project anyway).
Now let me make it vividly clear that I am total pain in the ass when it comes to customer service. As IT professional i deal with customers all day long, and i would classify myself as needy and difficult.
There were several sessions of troubleshooting before we finaly relized that i screwed the pooch on my assembly. So I decided to start over.
Again to protect his interests i will not go in to the final arangement that we came to, but needless to say i am pleased with his knowledge, integrity, service and support. I will continue to purchase from him (tho he may not be to happy about that) with complete confidence and assurance that i will recieve a quality product from a trusted suplier.
there is no question among forum members as to the quality of DrLava's product. And always seems to contribute some of the most useful information to this community. But i just had to put my 2 cents in on the subject.
