I thought he was buying from Greg not China!!! They're the next ones going aren't they? Lol

Threadjack over...

I've bought from Stonetek too. You may not get a lightning reply to mail but his goods all arrived and were packed well. Bonus in my opinion is there is NO shipping charge, (unless this has changed). A rare thing these days but rarer is the support and extra time, freely given by Greg when I had questions after my purchase.

I always appreciate people giving their time to inform of bad service but my best advice, on this occasion, would be to put this in the, "one off", pile. Try him again sometime.

I hope your project is a successful one, and look forward to you posting some pics.

M
thanks, i'll post it up when i got my flexdrive

That's better Superkai! Welcome back on board.

I know you might have felt burned, but, be brave. There's plenty of burning to be done when you've completed your build!

... and plenty more to learn from LPF.

stick around....

Guys he ordered it and then after a WEEK it hadn't shipped yet. Then he sent an email simply asking what was causing the delay and doesn't get a reply for 3 days. It shouldn't take 10 days to ship a little driver out in the mail or at least let the customer know what's up if you're having trouble obtaining the driver or w/e.
I second. He is acting a-la DX style.. saying in stock but they are not.

ps dont order from dx or you'll possibly have a heart attack they take over a month somtimes lol

Haha so true! Well anyways, I'm sure Greg was busy and just didn't time to send the order off. I wouldn't be that critical of him. Though I do know what it feels like to wait so long... it can be torture!

As a business owner people like you are what makes a great day turn sour. No matter what some people just are not happy. Everybody wants everything ASAP.

In any case Greg was in the hospital. His wife was trying to take care of the site and she oversold some of the diodes. He should be shipping all orders by Friday.

Guys like you never get sick? Never have a personal matter? I bet you have more then most. I can tell by the way you whine instead of trying to identify the problem. :tsk:

I think you guys need to cut kai some slack. He is new here, and he doesn't know Greg. When you look at sales web sited its easy to think its an actual company, with all the expectations that go along with a real company. He bought something, and found out it was not shipped a week later. He emailed Greg and it was not answered. Yeah his approach to the solution was in haste, but you cant blame him for being pissed. When you think you have been wronged, no one says "well maybe he is in the hospital" You just want your stuff, and to know when is it going to get there. I'm sure everyone has been in that place at one or more times in their lives. I know I have.

Paypal disputes are costly to the small online shops from what I've read...

Yea, maybe the sites inventory updater was behind or somebody ordered excatly
when you did in any event now you know maybe you should drop the dispute and
start over... My 2 cents... P.S. Glad I don't have a shop, life to complicated as it is.

I have a shop and it's GREAT.... not complicated at all... the key is in
customer communication...

If you have a problem with an order (ie.. out of stock... missing parts...
going out of town... in the hospital...Drunk out of my mind...etc) and
I can't get the order out on time... I just let the customer know of the
delay... and nine times out of ten... the customer understands....

If a customer "feels" he is being ignore (even if it is not the case)...
he will be pissed..

Of course there are always special circumstances... as was posted in
this case...
