So i bought a 405nm 50mw laser which is right here

50mw 405nm Handheld Adjust Focus Violet Purple Blue Laser Pointer SD302(1 x 18650 included) - DinoDirect.com

I receive it and it works just fine, and does not burn anything , even when focused there is nothing.

Thats fine with me cause im sure its way under spec, as long as my glow board worked fine which it did.. but when i see this.. I feel a bit scammed

100mw 405nm Handheld Adjust Focus Violet Purple Blue Laser Pointer SD302(1 x 18650 included) - DinoDirect.com

same model. same battery, for only a few more cents, i could of gotten twice the power. when 2 weeks ago the 100mw was $25

great job dino.:cryyy:

*edit* any way i can exchange these items, 1) my laser was way under spec, and 2) id rather pay 50 more cents for 100mw

So you're saying you bought an item, then the price on another item got lowered and now you're complaining?

50mw to begin with wont do much burning.. And it should be common sense that it will be under-spec, so it would have been 30-40mw? lol I think you sorta set yourself up for this one. No offence.

Also, I think you should be happy that you received a laser in the first place, getting it under-spec should have been easy to figure out basing on the price.

As much as I love to flame DinoDirect and talk massive amounts of shit on them, I'm missing the part where they ripped you off.

When I bought a 50mw 405 from DD, albeit a pen build, it metered out at 44mw. It was also only $16, so I was satisfied with the purchase.

Where do you see that you got ripped off...
Was that 100mW Laser for sale at today's price 2 weeks ago...
If so... why did you not buy it then...

If not.... stop whining because something that you thought
was a "bargain" 2 weeks ago and bought is not up to the "bargain"
that is available today...

I remember buying a $60.00 PHR803T a while back when today
I can get one for under $10.00.
Does that mean I was ripped off at $60.00...
No it does not... It means that was the "bargain" price at that
time...

BTW... what LPM did you use to test the output of that Laser
that you say is under spec...

A match is not an LPM....

That was probably me....

Yes I can burn (not Flame) the wood on a clothes pin with a
30mW (LPMed) 405nm Laser when focused with an additional
external lens (magnifying glass).

Perhaps you should have invested the extra $6.00 for "twice
the power" at that time...

Well, I'm pissed seeing 800mW 405nm selling for almost the half price I bought my 20mW 405nm 3 years ago. :p

Even if you bought a laser for $50 and the next day it went on sale for $10 they still wouldnt be ripping you off you just got unlucky and bought at the wrong time. Welcome to life and a word of advice....avoid the stock market haha

Yeah, and I'm pissed the red laser pointer I got for a birthday present nearly two decades ago that cost $100 is now worth less than the batteries that came with it.

Actually... no, I'm happy, because it's a sign that good things have happened.
