Here is the current situations as I see it. I do not know if anyone has ordered from any of the sellers from DHgate, but I have ordered 4 - 300mW Green DSPP pointers. The first 2 arrived within 7 days or so, one was DOA, the second was for a friend and I never brought it home to check on power meter. I them filed a dispute and got another 2 units shipped EMS for around $91.00 USD. Received them today. They are the standard black rubbery coated, non-focusable AAA units. Remember, 300mW!! First unit 70mW on the nose with 2 sets of batteries, second unit, 51mW with second set of batteries. These will be going back as did one of the first.. The seller (assume it is like a low rate Chinese EBAY) was named China2009. He/she may be totally ignorant of output powers, but he must understand what he is buying. Link to the lasers: Wholesale 69393827 - Buy China Wholesale 69393827 from Chinese Wholesalers | DHgate.com Just FYI for anyone planning to get a nice 300mw (-225mW) pointer...:undecided:

It is a well known fact on this Forum that you WILL NOT be able to buy
a 300mW Laser Pointer for $53-$68....

If it did exist in a pointer of that size the ON duty cycle would be in the
single digit seconds... and the battery would need to be changed in minutes.

300 mW of 532... definitely needs some heat sinking.... and more $$$.

Here is one rated at 200mW and maxes at 360mW (yet a little pricey)...

Yes, I do have more funds than sense. I figured it should approach 100mW or more, even at a 50% duty cycle. The purpose of my post was a warning. The MCA and 808nm laser diode would generate too much heat and obviously it would need dissection and heat sinking at best. Part of it is my bad, as it turns out, It is not even a good host.

BTW - I need some of your lenses.
