company that sells modules and housings

So far, the only company that I have found that sells housings and modules separately (but easily put together) is jasper laser. Basically, my problem is that in order to get a laser here, I have to get a module and pointer housing separately. I don't know how good jasper laser is, but they do sell a 50mw module for $100, and a kit housing for $10 dollars, and its literally as easy as popping the module into housing and screwing.

All of last year, I have been mostly buying things that I need. It would be nice to get something for fun. I do too much math and programming already to be building something from the ground up (i'm not in the mood for technical problems). I just want something easy simple. Jasper seems like the only one. O-Like does not have any battery and module housings from what I can tell, just cheaper modules.

Hell, if I could get a 50mw plus laser into the United States, I would do it, but its against the law.

EDIT: hmm, maybe this housing would work with the O-Like ones? http://rayfoss.com/productn.asp?ArticleID=85

It looks like I am going to support the community and get a really easy DIY kit from jayrob. Jasper is just too expensive for what you get imo, I rather get a 100mw set up for around a $100 bucks.

I'd recommend measuring modules etc. before buying. If they don't fit you will have a bare module and an empty housing.

Maybe i'm misreading a bit. But if all you are looking for is a pointer of 50mw+ in the U.S. there are plenty of sites that ship lasers into the U.S. with no problems at all.

I have that housing, and an o-like 200mW 532nm module en-route. should fit fine by my calculations. I'll do a build thread of it as soon as I get it. BTW o-like appear to be about to start selling Ultrafire hosts, and a new 500mW 532nm torch in the same host as the Rayfoss 1W 445nm.. new product links are appearing but as of yet point to nothing.

Here's a link to the image for the 500mW 532nm
