Hi welcome

You probably already realize but just incase you don't, a lot of websites sell CNI lasers as their own branded products...Dragon Lasers has a very decent reputation here.

In fact, I heard somewhere that CNI does the modules for WL (in WL's hosts)

So if I want to buy the Spartan 100mW of DL I can say it in the CNI Group buy thread?

Scopeguy should be able to tell you which CNI laser is called "spartan" by DL (if the Spartan is in fact made by CNI). CNI doesn't call their lasers by the same names as some of the distributors.

Ok, but here is the official info about the laser but there is writing that the laser have a red led indicator and a key-saftey-system. But this is not at the Dragollaser Spartan:thinking:

PS: And is anyone a comparision between the Spartan 15mW or 200mW and the Pro Evolution 130mW or 100mW?
PPS: And what is the peak outputpower of the Spartan 200mW?

The specifications say that it is available with it on request, but it does not come standard.

the DL "Spartan" is an amazing host for a high-power Green (and the divergence/beam-specs are great for range, however not that great for burning, if that's what you're mainly into). I highly recommend you get it from CNI though because the prices are simply Day&Night compared to DL, and CNI has the option of safety features (you can pick whether you want the LED / Safety Key or not). Once again I highly recommend the PGL-III-M-532 (DL "Spartan") for a high-power Green; however if you have some money and you really wanna invest, I'd wait until they get even higher powers available again (right now they only go up to 200mW but the old 200-450mW are probably coming back soon). Hope it helps!

Ok, thanks. But my budget is <350$ (<270€). But where should I buy the laser? On the website I cannot see any button to buy the laser and in the thread I think I have to wait for 10 other people, who want to buy them. And ther I think it will last so long.
And which Poweroutput would you recommend me with my budget? And do you have a laser power meter, which you can measure the peak outputpower of the 300mw?

I just recently got a personal quote for the PGL-III-M-532's (also known as the DragonLasers Spartan). It's an AMAZING host, and I'm working on getting CNI to include a custom tailcap so that you can switch between click-on-click-off operation and momentary hold-to-use standard operation by just switching tailcaps. Below is a link to DragonLaser's website which includes pictures and some inaccurate/outdated spec-information. The quotes I got are just PERFECT for you:

50 or 80mW = $165 ; 100mW = $190
150mW = $240 ; 200mW = $340

and this is just for one order, so if you get it through one of Glenn's (ScopeGuy20) CNI Group Buys, it should be even less! So if I were you, I'd get the 200mW (well it's actually more... 200 is the rated level and it tends to be more with these models) through Glenn for <$340 (who knows, it might even go down to near $300!)

Green Handheld Laser --- 532nm Laser ----- Spartan Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers <-- this is the link to the DragonLaser's Spartan (which is virtually the exact same thing but sold under a different name, and way pricey. They literally just buy these from CNI and then resell them.). This is just for reference, as the specs are pretty off, and I highly recommend against buying it from DL (DL is amazing, and I'm a big fan and all... but the price is over twice as much. UNJUSTIFIED)

hope it helps!

Thanks for the information. But I decided for the 150mW laser because I think the different between 150mW and 200mW is not very large (if it is wrong, please correct me ;)) and I want to buy saftey googles, too.
But where can I buy the laser without waiting for other people?
