Recently I ordered a 405nm lens on eBay from Aixiz lasers. I accidentally received a different style lens than what we here are typically used to. When I brought this up with Chuck, this was his response. "The lens you received is designed to not need the focusing ring" Please see the image below for reference.

Notice the top isn't threaded (which is actually where the focusing ring would go, I only put it on the wrong end for reference).

Unfortunately, I required the original lens since the build this lens was for used a focusing ring. When I informed Chuck of this, he promptly shipped me a new lens and told me to keep the old one.

So, Kudos for Chuck for doing the right thing and not forcing the buyer to pay return shipping for the companies error as most companies would.

Yeah... I found Chuck was quite reasonable when it comes
to defective or missing parts. I've always been taken care
of by him when things needed fixing...

All that is nothing new- Chuck has been doing that for a long time, even when it may be fairly obvious that the buyer did something dumb and his now not-working laser item is fubarred.

I bought a 15 mW green labby from a young man in Calf. he said he had to get a second(free) one from Aixiz.com because the first one went out and he was happy that he did not have to return the bad labby.

. He sold me the good one and threw in the broken one to. As soon as I saw it I knew what he did and it was totally his fault not any fault of AixiZ. I know that sometimes Chuck may run out of items like modules and lenses. His crystal ball is in the same repair shop as mine-- waiting on back-ordered parts--lol.

So before anyone gets thier knickers in a wad up thier butt crack keep all this in mind- Aixiz is a (pretty much) family ran biz and they cannot do much about back orders getting delayed to them or items that they get doa and so when you get it dont put all the blame on AixiZ.

solo mis dos centavos... hak
At least in the end you can count on them to make good and do it asap- from Houston,Tx. not China.
