I ordered a 500mw 445nm laser from lazerpoint.com, and honestly I'm just looking for anyone whos had any experience with them. I've read several mixed reviews and am hoping to come across some hard answers.

I've e-mailed their customer service department several times with no reply, despite their advertised "6 hour reply guarantee" :(

Thanks in advance for any help

Lazerer is a great site. They test all of their lasers, so you can be sure they are on-spec, and shipping is great from what I've heard.

Good luck with the blue at 50€. Might I recommend a violet?
Or rather a red? I think those are the two cheapest colors.

Green: Plenty of power for beginning - pointing at stars etc. (no burning power)
Red: It should be at least 190mW in that class (O-like, and Lazerer are pretty much the same in quality , and power delivered)

In general: green lasers from these two suppliers are usually overspecs ,

red underspecs by 5%-8% , waterproof even more.

Then, you are good to go. 50mW is clearly visible at the dark conditions.

More than my weak 200mw ? :p
