Imo you should just save up for a good viper/x-series if you want a good pointer. The newwish pointers are simply crap. They're a good way to get into lasers for cheap, but it ends there. Even if you get a good one the cheaply made button will usually fail after a few thousand depressions : Also they have no current regulation so the laser starts dimming long before the batteries are drained.
