On Oct 10th i sent $27.65 for a 30mw green laser pointer
since someone has posted they ship to the US. i'm going to post the tracking #, that way you guys can keep an eye on it and see if you'd like to use this site.

i paid for the item on Oct 10th
And recieved the tracking number and confirmation the item was shipped on Oct 16th.

so this may turn out to be not too bad of a site for us living in the USA.

Okay! it recieved it today!
Total, from day of ordering to actually recieveing it took 13 days.
this is my first green laser.
at first i was a little disappointed but i found out that there is a little too much space for the batteries so it tends to cut out alot, but after jamming some aluminum foil in the end to fill up space and replacing the crappy batteries it came with, it works great.

i can see the beam easily in the night sky, as can others standing around me.

so...over all i think i got my moneys worth and i will certainly order from this site again.

yup here are some....i can't get beam shots because i don't have a fog machine and my camera kinda sucks.

eek, picture is a little big lol......
the other is my red laser, rckstr 350ma with a 16x diode from stonetek.

looks like a DX pen laser :D i think they are new wish? or something like that ;D

Hello All,

I took a chance and ordered a laser (this one- http://www.bestofferbuy.com/50mw-green-laser-pointer-with-key-lock-cr2-p-944.html) from bestofferbuy.com. My experience with them has been similar to other chinese companies I've ordered from.

Basically, it's a crapshoot.


The laser I ordered was a green 50mW pointer with keylock...

The laser I received? Well, it is green. But it's not the laser I ordered. It has no key-lock. (which was the main reason I bought it. I wanted a more 'child-safe' telescope pointer.)

As to the power, there's no way it's 50mW. I don't have an LPM, but my 40-50mW standstone module is easily twice as bright even at 3v. If I had to guess, Id say the bestofferbuy laser is running 15-20mW of green. But that's just a guess.

Other things that bug me about this laser-
1) the module is off-center in the host and it's glued in. Oh F***ing well.
2) The laser is not CW! It is running pulsed. I noticed this when I hooked it into my spirograph. It leaves a dotted line. The duty cycle looks to be ~50%

Shipping to China being what it is, and the price being low, I'll keep the laser or give it as a Christmas gift. But I'm a little annoyed. Be careful everybody.

All the lasers i have purchased that look like that, i have always had problems with, and apparently they don't have ir filters in them too :S (that is if i'm speakign about the right one, the one just above the keyboard)


tis why i don't trust ebay or dx for lasers ^_^




however, you can see the beam in the sky so that's all you need, i just wouldn't recommend shining it anywhere near you, if it doesn't have an ir filter, it may give you eye / headaches.

its a standard pen style, i dont think New Wish has a patent on the pen design, its just a name they give it

but i still prefer amazon for my US shipping needs, i got my 50mW for $42 and it arrived in 3 days, its beautiful, it will always be my favorite

but the same provider also has 30mW for $25 http://www.amazon.com/Dimple-Finish...3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1225764523&sr=1-3 with some bonus stuff too
